A Dunny Weedler ex lusive

Thanks Ink.
Another nothing article. Somebody's putting some effort into keeping this in the media.

Weidler is notorious for that sort of thing. He spent the best part of a year with his weekly column supporting Stephen Dank.

It helps us, though. The more they can blame it all on Taylor, the more the potential buyer will be willing to pay.

There is a story on Akauola in the herald, he mentions how Farah looked after him when he was feeling depressed, along with Keithy and Halatau made sure he didn't do anything silly.
He said the coach kept playing him in the halves and he is not a half, he felt like he was letting his team mates down, he is gone to penrith hoping for a fresh start.
But there is another story in the article about how the Weststigers board were told Farah would have no trouble finding a club, and Farah was disliked by other players, neither of these proved true.
So the board made a decision based on these so called facts, which presumably were presented by Taylor, and they were lies.
This makes me think Farah going to Bali was a ploy to get the club to ask the hard questions of Taylor, and why he mislead them.

Also mentions how JT asked Halatau to keep and eye on him and report back so he could make sure Sitaleki was ok as the club was worried about him.

Also what proof do you see in that article that Farah is having trouble finding a club (and if he is do you wonder why ?). Also as for Farah being disliked by other players i've not seen this mentioned by the club as being a reason but I have heard from friends who are personal mates from school of a couple of players that some of our other stars think Robbie isn't thier favourtie person. Yes some came out and supported him when this happened but amny said nothing and what else could others say when asked

Talk about tit for tat.

Guess what? I work in an environment where there is over 100 employees and you think everyone likes each other? NO not everyone but we are paid Professionals to do our job at hand. Some are so concerned who likes Robbie and who doesn't…...big deal.
It's human nature that not every player gets along with every one of there team mates it's right across the NRL.

Ask your friends who know him personally about who asked there Agents to look elsewhere for them cause of Jason Taylor mid year and PM me those players if you think your info is correct on what your saying of the hate players have for Farah.

Soon all this will be sorted and so will Pasty face, it's only a matter of time.

Farah moves on and JT will be a step closer to getting the side he wants? Lets hope.

I have been advised that there is truth to this rumour however, it doesn't make sense to me.

The rationale is STGI picks up Farah for $100k and loses Rein who is on closer to $450k therefore improves their hooker for 2 years and has $350k to sign another player. They also get a leader as Marshall will retire at the end of 2016\. Rein is lightning out of dummy half however, his all round game is limited but he has way more upside than Farah.

The downside would be Cherrington would leave if you bring in Rein and in my view Cherrington will be the better hooker in 18 months time. Subsequently we are supposed to have Cap Problems?????
We can't afford to spend $450k on a hooker whilst paying Farah to play elsewhere whilst, Cherrington needs an upgrade.

If this plan happens the next thing they need to do is have the entire management team and coaches sacked for lying to members and fans of the cap position of WT.

I think you would find - Rein and - 100k would be the deal. Not - 100k + Rein salary.

The club doesn't have an extra 450k to spend next year unless that was Robbie's bonus for rep games which would need to be included.

So we get rein and $100k salary cap relief? Much better than i expected.

Dragoons would have to be paying $900,000 per season for that to happen!

Wouldn't we be getting 900k relief if saints did that?

I am assuming we are still paying $350,000 per season for him to play at the Dragoons. Reign is $450,000?
Dragoons would have to be paying $900,000 per season for that to happen, should have been for their hooker position, as opposed to $450,000 for Reign?

I'm getting a bit lost. We're paying 450 for rein and 350 for Farah to go to saints. 800 all up as apposed to 900 to Farah if he was still playing for us. 100k room onto our salary.

I am more lost but Rein has a contract for 2016 and Farah till 2017\. I see it that if Farah goes to Dragoons they would increase the cost of their hooker position two fold for 2016, and about $150k in 2017\. That is with us paying them $350k each year. Not sure if any of these figures are true but do the dragoons have that room in their cap?

Lucky I am not an account! Anyone need their tax done?

what happens to the money owed from previous contracts( 400, 000)??
I was under the impression that it was over 1.1 million that he was owed for each year left. Which included the cut he took, And was well over a million per year.

Sure is. Some are in total denial about the board's decision to side with the coach over Robbie and allow JT his full contract to do what he thinks is necessary.

Ah right. I didn't realize rein only had one year left. It's getting messy alright.

Keeping it simple my take is

Robbie is on 900k
Rein is on 450k based on the poster here
Dragons will pay 100k on top

Based on the above if the dragons pay 100k + trade Rein for Farah technically the Tigers still pay 800k for Farah (350) & Rein (450).

Tigers only pay 350k of Farah's contract.

Again just my take on things

_Posted using RoarFEED 4.2.0_

By completing this trade we would pay $750k for Robbie to play at STGI and pay $450k to rein.
We would have to pay $1.20m for the hooker position and likely lose Cherrington.

The Tigers 'TAYLOR' doomed us as by trying to trash Farah's reputation they have made it toxic. Clubs know Farah has to go otherwise Taylor has to. He will leave for next to nothing being paid by the incoming club to preserve Taylor's job.

Make no mistake the club is backing Taylor therefore the only hope is the board changes and Taylor is sacked.
