Robbie's gonna be busy in 2016

Bulldogs on a Friday Night

NSW Cup on a Sunday

Monday's with Dousty's Dragons

Then he'd be earning his $950 k a season

Knight on Thursday's…

You'd expect the Dragons would have to pay him something reasonable given he's an Origin player so hopefully the money WT would have to kick in won't be anywhere near the $2 million we owe him. Anyway, if he does leave as is rumoured, I hope he goes really well for whichever team he joins. Been a great competitor for our team for a very long time.

The deal between the Dragons and the Tigers was done weeks ago the only one holding out was Farah , Tigers to pay 600 with the drag queens to pay 300.

Farah must have changed his mind and decided to go, or another club has come to the party.

hmm, who to believe… JT comes out and says Farah will be here in 2016 or some random doggies supporter whos "in the know"... tough choice but i think i'm leaning towards the kennel's mole.

The Kennel's mole strikes again. How does he do it?

I don't think Tygr has ever heard the expression ''full support of the board''

Will be funny if he ends up at the Dragons, because yesterday Matt Mcilwrick rejected their offer for the Sharks. Would be funny if they then turned to Farah, essentially seeing him as their fall back after failing to land a NSW cup hooker.

Might be stretching the truth their a little bit. I am sure they wanted Robbie all along

I heard the Dragons tried to register a contract for Robbie a while ago and was told by the NRL that the amount was too low for the salary cap (Robbie still would have been full amount owed, just the vast majority from us).

Funny how the NRL have minimum amounts in the Salary Cap for teams like the Dragons, EEL (when the tried to sign Izzy) but let clubs like Souths get a rails run with Sam Burgess. The NRL administration is not very even handed in such matters, some would even say they are biased towards helping certain teams.

Massoud said on the report today that his mail says otherwise… not that it means much, but a strong sydney team with a chance of a premiership? Dogs? Rabbits?

Here's a link for any interested.

Who cares where he goes. The important things are
1\. He goes
2\. The Wests Tigers have to pay as little as possible of his contract for the next 2 years
3\. We spend the money on the appropriate players be that for 16 or front loading some others and spending the money for 17

Farah's management are grubs….Taylor, the board and Farah's management have ripped the heart out of this club....cant wait to see Ivan Cleary in this role come April. What the hell we going to do with $300k....top up Brooks and Moses to get belted even more or buy Brenton Lawrence to sit on the side lines.....this club is a joke.

Payout stoush looms as Robbie Farah requests Wests Tigers release

Robbie Farah has requested a release and a full payout for the final two years of his contract from Wests Tigers.

Farah's manager, Sam Ayoub, emailed the club on Friday night to officially ask to be released from his contractual commitments. The NSW hooker is on approximately $1.9 million over that period and the joint-venture outfit has been asked to release him and pay out the entirety.

Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe confirmed the release had been requested and would be considered if it could be negotiated on commercial terms that are reasonable to both parties. However, he said the Tigers wouldn't be paying out Farah in full in order to play at another side.
**"We received an email last night asking for a release, but we haven't agreed to any terms," Pascoe said.\
\
"Until terms are agreeable, Robbie remains a contracted player and we expect him to see out all the obligations of that contract."**

The development comes just days after coach Jason Taylor said Farah would be considered for his round one side if the former captain continued to train well during the off season.

Farah, who recently relinquished the captaincy, has been on the outer at the Tigers and the club gave him the opportunity to explore his options earlier in the season.

Maybe JT saying he'll be here in 2016 was a ploy to get a few members to renew before the death blow.

On a side note, what a glowing endorsement Farah received on the Kennel. A snapshot of how he's viewed by the majority of non Wests fans.

I was surprised how anti it was. 2 pages only so far, but not one positive. Maybe half a positive: "he can kick alright".

Maybe the theory floated by ByronBaytiger that anyone who doesn't rate Farah must be a racist has some merit. Could it be that dogs fans hate the Lebanese?

It only takes a few nasty big mouths to create the impression of what may be behind their nastiness. As stated before there has only ever being one player I disliked and that was Rocket Reddy for all his punching. Also did not like Ennis for unnecessary violent stuff. It is weak putting your elbow into someone's unprotected face on the ground. I can't recall Farah doing nasty stuff, admittingly have not seen many games. Did he ever miss games for unprovoked violence?

This club is bleeding. How could Wests Tigers be obliged to pay Farah's full contract for the remaining two years if he is going to play for another club.

This is big news. We cannot pay out his contract. I still don't understand why we signed him up on that money either. They are stating its $1.9 million over the next 2 years.

Yeah Farah wants his $1m per year full payout from the Tigers and no doubt will sign another contract with another club for $500k in TPA's….greedy manager?

That won't happen. Unless the other club offers a decent amount, they won't release him.

So Ayoub has folded… This now puts the club in a very strong position moving forward.

Hopefully this is over quickly so the fans can get back to admiring Robbie as the Club Legend he is!
