Robbie Farah..Discussion Thread.....

To JT's rent a crowd, this must be hard for you to acknowledge and accept .

"It's believed Farah is viewed by the Roosters as being a valuable addition to the squad and wouldn't be bumping Friend out of his current role."

Anyone would look brilliant in that side Mrs Farah.

Really looking forward to some positive news in the next few days where the Club and Robbie have agreed to the terms of the release. I am and always have been a Robbie Fan but the last year in particular was not a good year for him on the paddock, club form was ordinary. Wish him luck but it's time to move on and with cherrington as our future being guided by Ballin, we are in safe hands. I am pumped about the prospect of a long term spine of Cherrington, Brooks, Moses and Teddy surrounded by a bit of quality coming through in other positions. Tigers Fans hang in there…............

That's exactly right. Whether people on the forum or tiger fans in general are for or against the decision, we all highly respect Robbie for everything that he has done for the club. He has been a great player and a true club legend, but the time has come to make some changes.

I'm just glad all of this drama seems to be coming to an end. It shouldn't impact at all on membership, members and fans support the team through good and bad. While it is nearly all bad at the moment, I'm sure the good times are coming.

We just make ourselves more and more of a laughing stock every year.

Having heaps of seniors players getting paid by the Tigers to play semi final football elsewhere.

The whole league is laughing at us I reckon.

Everyone thinks it great we are cleaning up all the salary cap, but who is going to want to come here and play.

I wouldnt worry about the whole league laughing at us. That laughter will soon be aimed at the club that signs him next.

I suppose we will see who is laughing in September really.

Thats the only true answer and how both parties are going.

In the meantime next year after every loss and every Tigers off field controversy I am going to come in here and blame Farah.

Because it must he his fault…

We will surge into the Top 7 now whilst Robbies new club faces certain crisis??

Right?!?!

Bahahaha… You're sounding like a crying teenage girl... Have a nap

The penny has finally dropped. Dumb and dumber finally worked it out.

Yeah

Hardly - if they end up at Roosters(successful on the field and financially) and we are paying for it - that makes us 'dumbest'. And they reckon the Farah supporters are blinded by emotion.

Can anyone remind me why we got rid of Sheens? Mother Nature moved on the boys club and now we are stuck with a dud coach and a dud board. Seriously one minute they are telling Farah in a not so Suttle manner to leave now the won't let him go. Looks like JT and the board want the cake all for themselves, unfortunately it doesn't work that way.. They should have either:

1) Put up with the status quo and be friendly towards Farah and hammered out a solution
Or
2) Pay him out and be done with him

It doesn't matter who signed what and when, the contract is only relevant

There has been zero progress since Sheens axing.

I've already seen one goose post a video of himself ripping his membership sticker off his car  and proceeded to call anyone who still supported the club after this ''idiots'' and a few other colourful words that would probably get me banned if i repeated them. It's actually quite funny how emotional some are getting over this. Just shows they never really supported the team for the right reasons.

Maybe it shows that they are fed up with how their club is being managed, emotion often results is illogical decisions. Once they calm down maybe they will be back.

I'll still follow WT even if Woods Brooks Moses Teddy Siro Nuffa left West Tigers are my club I will follow them through thick and thin.

That is what I like from supporters following the club no matter what happens.

Good news for Farah

He deserves better then our mess of a club where he is the scape goat for everything that goes wrong with some fans.

Im sure Robbie will go and destroy his next club while we surge into the top 4 under Taylor :crazy

Good luck selling memberships next year.

Wake up Eddie!

With our pitiful number of members it wouldn't make any difference.

Who cares

At least he is gone

If you can't see at every turn "the man who will bleed for the club and given 13 years to the club " is trying to destroy the club then I don't know when you will

I care…..

Pretty sure ur man JT is doing a pretty fine job of frecking things up.

Matt Ballin.....LOLOLOLOLOOLLLLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! :crazy

More likely because they picked do him, a dedicated player who played through and thin, and actually would tackle - whereas other guys are getting close to the same base pay and are nicknamed "turnstiles"

How would you know? You openly admit you rarely watch us play,

X2

I hope that Robbie leaves because I'm sick of the drama plus I think the guy is paid massively over what he offers us right now. He has lost that zip around the ruck and his service isn't great when it comes to getting us rolling forward.

We will though miss his skill which gives us plenty of points and his toughness and defence. On the right amount of money Robbie is a great option. He is still one of the top hookers in the game. Spelling him with Mania to add some spark may have worked really well.

why are their so many trolls on here…are we not all tiger fans?

yet it seems a few select individuals like having a go at peeps.surely we can debate without the childish stuff.

CB nailed it earlier in regards to why the club hasn't granted his release yet.

Best outcome for all concerned.
JT & Farah together would've been impossible.
A shame another club legend leaves on bad terms… Don't be of the belief this is a JT or Robbie thing, it's a WTs thing

Who are the ones you consider trolls? Those who have a different opinion to you?
