So the latest is that Pascoe has offered Farah a two year extension on his current contract so that Farah can be a one club player and Pascoe is confident that Farah & Taylor can work out their differences .
I give up .. I need a labotomy !

I'm sorry… I just went away for an hour for dinner... Missed these new developments.

I think we need an official live updater here...

You still have sauce on your chin !

I thought you'd already had one

But on a serious note, what the hell is going on here???? If we can believe any of the stuff being printed recently, first the club desperately wants Farah to go and JT does everything he can to get rid of him, then JT says all is good now and Robbie is training well, they have buried the hatchet and are looking forward to working together next season. Just a few days later, we now have Farah throwing down the gauntlet and wanting to leave, then we have our CEO saying no Robbie don't go! Stay for another 4 years, no - stay for life!!! WHAT THE?

Then, to top it all off, we have reports that Brooks and Moses are now being shopped around by the club and that they don't get along with Taylor :crazy !!! Weren't these the two guys the Wests Tigers were supposed to be building their future around? Have I missed something here, or has JT got a ready made five eighth/half combination floating around in his back pocket somewhere - I'm stuffed if I know.

All I know is that whatever the outcome of all this mess - whether Farah stays or goes, whether Taylor stays or goes or whether Brooks & Moses stay or go - we are already well and truly rooted for next season.

Despite all the positive spin that we will no doubt hear from the club with future headlines like 'the off field dramas won't have any effect on the team, we'll be focusing on playing good footy and making the 8 blah blah', they _will_ be affected and our season will suffer - you can bet your house on it.

If Farah ends up having to go, Brooks, Moses, Tedesco & co will not be happy - they all went on holidays together for crying out loud! If he stays, JT and the board won't be happy. If JT goes, we will have to start all over again from scratch with a new coach.

Whichever way you look at it, it does not bode well for a good season next year. No one's head is gonna be in it, hell my head isn't even in it! The damage is already done, so I reckon we may as well all bend over and kiss our next season so long, farewell, see ya later, sayonara, arrivederci, aufweidersen, see ya when ya bum cracks and goodbye!

The farce continues mate , anyone who thinks we'll make the semis next year are off with the pixies .

Why should he have been told by the people who were involved, maybe he went to the same fortune teller that you do ,to get the stuff that you peddle here as factual, despite no one ever hearing anyone say it.
If it's good enough for you, it's good enough for all of us.

Its no surprise to me that you've yet addressed the point about Cleary's first yr at the Panthers. And you talk about me dodging points.

Didn't know that I had to
Cleary has done ok with the Panthers considering the injuries that they've had over the seasons
Taylor doesn't have injuries as an excuse he had a much better run with injuries than Potter did. And can you remind me where was it where we finished this season …0h that right....equal last

Incorrect again - we came 15th. That is official by the way.

Hope the Knights don't improve next year.

I don't think there are many that actually think JT has shown himself to be a worthwhile coach, but if we sack him now we may cripple ourselves for a decade. The club is reportedly in poor finances. We don't want to be paying 2 coaches & we would probably struggle to pay JT + a coach people would actually want (like Cleary or Toovey). Further, why would they come here when we have limited funds & are known to be a vipers nest for coaches?

We need to actually honour a commitment to a coach if we ever want to attract a better one, because we won't woo them with money. For the good of the club I think fans just need to ride out the JT years…

Channel 9 news have just reported that Robbie Farah has been offered a 'lifetime contract' with the tigers this morning …. where does this leave Mania?

Exactly Boon.

All too often on here you read about how a fan thinks the Club has been unprofessional, as if this is the first time a player has been moved on mid contract, the first time a club stalwart has been asked to move on, as if our club is the only club to have ever done it…

To be honest the only thing that is a first time around, is that this is the first time a player had the audacity to play it out in the media like a dog, first time someone stooped as low as Farah has.

The information being leaked isnt coming from the club, the media tip offs to meetings and attendees to meant to raise debate arent the clubs work either. Someone is dragging us through the mud, being unprofessional, yet some of you swing from his nuts and are blinded to the blatantly obvious.

Nicely put.

I agree, it's really terrible that Farah has stood up to a blow in "coach" and a board who has no knowledge of either the game or players and defended defended himself .
He should have rolled over and done whatever the club said.
What a bad boy!!

Exactly. I know hes not capable at acting like an adult but he really should have asked a grown up for help.
And the blow-in? Is that the wests junior?

Farah has asked for a release…why would he accept it...?

Robbie was originally contracted til end of 2017\. Manaia would have been assured the gig in 2018, so really nothing changes for him

He's a blow in as far as coaching goes. And who else would employ him?

It wouldn't be for playing for 4 yrs. it would probably include a job after his 2 yrs are up, or something similar. Not sure how that fits with the Cap?

Probably realised that keeping Robbie at the club will keep moses, brooks and ted here so they decided to keep him in the club somehow

I read somewhere this morning that said Farah had blinked,
Well it seems that someone has blinked, but it isn't Farah and his Management.
Going on our backflips , We should be a athletics club
Seems JT hadn't looked at the bank account , before him and his boof headed mate threatened Robbie.

I hope for the club's sake that they keep robbie, they also get the fans. Would love to see Robbie and Jason having to act with restraint - won't do them any harm. They call the bickering a draw, shake hands and do the right thing by the club.

Even we aren't as dumb as to release him to save only $100,000 a year whilst paying him to play elsewhere.
