Game, set and match, the tigers have blinked, there it is…

they will spin it every which way, but it's all over, the tigers have to keep him and Taylor's days are numbered.

“We are looking at a number of options with Robbie, including what role he may play with Wests Tigers once he finishes his playing career,” he said. “Robbie is approaching 250 games with Wests Tigers and any Club would be open to having a player of that experience involved in an Ambassador role after their retirement.

But Robbie and Sammy sent Justin an email on Friday saying they wanna take their money and leave…

yep, and what has come out of it? the above quote, you seem to be able to work through the misinformation, but that is a direct wests tigers quote. I'm very sure where this is heading now.

Wow. I can't help but think Pascoe is gunning to keep Robbie, punt Taylor and sign Cleary. Just a thought

the more this goes on the more it seems you are right

I still think it'll be toovey.

The saga as it is has me bored now. I don't care really anymore. Once Potter was treated as he was, the writing was on the wall for what was ahead. I gave Taylor the benefit of the doubt and hoped he could do well, but his plan of play and our future have lost me completely. Although I do think his determination to punt Farah is absolutely correct. Not that it'll do us any good.

Imagine the uproar when they ''change their mind'' and finally release him.

Keep going, you'll manage to convince yourself that your right,

He seems to get it wrong quite a lot!

Like the 4 yr contract that doesn't exist?

No ones talking about a 4 yr playing contract, the only contract I've seen anything about is something to do with after his playing days, a strange thing to offer someone who you allegedly want out.
The confidence is starting to waver thereGNR
Don't worry , we'll be there to help you through it if JT has another backflip and resigns

Once a player asks for a release that's it. Why would Farah ask for a release only to get talked into staying by a club who a week ago didn't want him?

Its all just words from the club. Farah knows his first grade career is over if he stays. That's why he asked for a release and nothing has changed.

CEO might have gone above Taylor

Simple really

Then you clearly don't read any of these posts. Starting your post off with this was rather irrelevant as it was a only a segway you could use to throw a jab. I will maintain that you are an extremely naive individual if you still believe Farah will be here after voluntarily asking the club for a release.

Maybe he was given some info that there is going to be some changes soon.
That info came straight from your fortune teller by the way

Even if that was the case, Farah has asked for a release. Even if the club had changed their tune it doesn't mean Farah is automatically going to stick around. Clearly he's fed up.

Players change their mind when situations change, Does the name Tedesco or Daly Evans mean anything to you

And what changes would they be?

Parra made a similar call on Daniel Anderson when he fell out with Jarryd Hayne. Maybe ceo has read the public reaction, seen the power Robbie has within the media and will toss Taylor out. Elite players have a way of winning these battles, whether their right or wrong

"Wests Tigers would like to clarify media reports regarding Robbie Farah’s future with the Club.

Farah met with Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe today with details of those conversations set to remain confidential.

Farah still has two years left on his contract with the Club, with reports of a new playing contract being offered to him incorrect.

Justin Pascoe said that the Club would continue to work with Farah and his management regarding his playing future with Wests Tigers.

Wests Tigers will not accept terms within any release that puts the Club in further financial risk and will strive to create an environment that allows all players, including Farah, to thrive.

“We will continue to work closely with Robbie and his management to come up with an agreement that meets the needs of both parties,” said Pascoe.

“Robbie still has two years left on his playing contract with Wests Tigers and at this stage remains a part of the Club’s plans for the 2016 season.

“We are looking at a number of options with Robbie, including what role he may play with Wests Tigers once he finishes his playing career,” he said.

“Robbie is approaching 250 games with Wests Tigers and any Club would be open to having a player of that experience involved in an Ambassador role after their retirement.

“We are committed to building a successful and sustainable Wests Tigers both on and off the field and this will be taken into account when a decision regarding Robbie’s future with the Club is made,” he said."

There is only one problem, the coach wants him out.

Robbie never wanted out of the Tigers.

Things could easily change really.
