My question about the reactions from the players is this

Are they acting in support of Robbie because they are angry about the boards decision or are they angry at the way they have been coached this season

Because if its a/ (the players are angry at the board) we could have something for the players to feed off for 2016

If Farah was to stay we could create a massive player siege mentality to prove the board /JT wrong with the decision to get rid of him

Maybe so, but I think that concept is fraught with danger. It basically asks to enable Farah in a role that undermines the coaching staff. For mine, it has train wreck written all over it.

I think 2016 probably already has train wreck written all over it WT's wise

But WT management have taken brave steps to overcome the current train wreck from decimating our club.

Stay - if the board was a good one they would make the coach and the captain sort it out and move forward . There is too much Ill feeling from both sides of the argument to determine who is right or wrong .
Robbin deserves the right to see out his career here and I will say this reluctantly Taylor deserves 1 more year to turn the teams performance around .
Deal with it the right way tigers 😛ray:

The poll indicates the love for Robbie to stay is far from overwhelming….....

What???? I vote difference
As I said earlier we are only a small portion of WTSupporters .
And how many have voted?

Isn't the Nielsen poll something like 10, 000 people?

I'm quite surprised about the poll tbh. I'd have conceded that amongst supporters in general that support for Farah may have been 65-35 in his favour, and it still could be, but the fact over 100 people have voted and you can't light a match between the two options, that's pretty telling. Would explain why the Farah thread has over 80 pages in just over a week. Maybe the opinions of the fans are a lot more divided than we think.

Let me clarify for you GC,the huge support for Robbie to stay earlier is not indicative to the poll…..it is about 50/50..so for him to stay it is not overwhelming as first suggested....

GC,don't try and make a mountain out of a molehill...the support for Farah isn't as huge as most expected....that is all that I was saying....

Each to their own....?????

Much like others, I am surprised at the poll results. I know 124 people is a very small sampling of the greater supporter base, but I would imagine given we're all members here we're a very dedicated core of the wider supporter group.

Like Milky my Bio says it all. Stay!! Me and Milky have only known 1 Wests Tigers captain and for him to be disrespected like this is disgraceful…

The fact that Farah has been disrespected should not sway your opinion on whether you want him to stay or not. I'm pretty sure if we did a poll on "Do you think this could have been handled better?" the response on that would be yes 100%. But that is not the topic. It is entirely unrelated.

It hasn't swayed my opinion in anyway. Even if this whole thing was handled better I would still want him here. I was only saying the way he was disrespected was disgraceful which it was, but in no way did it sway me to vote "stay".

on FB on the tigers sites it seems far more in Robbies favour.

facebook is full of stupid people… In here the smarts are evenly spread!

Quick, breakout the streamers. On our poll, Robbie 'stay' has hit the front.

I have always marveled at Farah's skills as a hooker. I think he is the most gifted player in that position I have seen. However, I tend to think that where there is smoke there is fire. While not being privy to all the underlying details, there seems to be emerging evidence that reveals Robbie as a malcontent and corrosive influence within the club. Although I'm not really a fan of Taylor, it seems the best thing for the club is for Farah to move on.

Somebody posted ''inside info'' last Thursday that Farah was going to take a pay cut and that it would be revealed on the news that night. Within 10 mins it had about 15 likes and everyone commenting how happy they were. The guy didn't even have a source. Facebook is littered with gullible people who are predominantly casual supporters, especially when the official page posts something and 100 people comment who you can tell never even watch games.

I really don't want to hear about this next season. Time to walk on Robbie. Take your cash and a nice retirement in the UK.

Talk about a sweeping statement. Facebook is just another form of social media not much different to this Main difference - being that peoples profiles are mostly not hidden behind user names. For every unfounded bias view that is written on facebook the same can be said about this forum. And quite frankly the OFFICIAL news that is regularly posted on here comes from the Wests Tigers facebook page.
