For the ones out there who were concerned for Robbie, he seems ok

:imp: Still won't play against Newcastle….. I'd have a better chase than he. I've been a huge fan of Robbie's but if Laurie doesn't pick Ennis he has rocks in his toupeed head. In fact the more sharks the better for the blues.

Probably a bit irresponsible of us to play him next week after the knock he copped. Especially with the importance the game places on concussion recovery these days.

Having said that, he will go through the usual tests this week and if he passes them we won't have any case to any if we decide to play him.

Well my info is that Reynolds was trialling a hard steel chastity belt in preparation for next weeks big game against Mitchell Pearce. Obviously Farahs head has made heavy contact with this device. Good to hear he's doing well.

Did anyone see the NSW Cup game to tell us how Ballin went?

think he got man of the match.

You'd think he'd just walk into the hooking spot against the Knights

It's not a career ending injury? We can't just pay him out his contract and open up 900k of salary cap space?

Robbie Farah calls Laurie Daley mid-interview to declare State of Origin fitness

Robbie Farah is in doubt for Wests Tigers match against Newcastle on Saturday but the NSW hooker has assured coach Laurie Daley he will be fit for Origin I after phoning him during a press conference about Blues selections.

Daley was answering questions about the make-up of the NSW side to be announced next Monday when his phone rang with the cameras rolling and he sheepishly tried to turn it off only to see Farah's name flash up on the screen.

After returning Farah's call following the interview, Daley breathed a sigh of relief as the Blues vice-captain told him he had been cleared of any serious head or neck problems and would be available for the series opener at ANZ Stadium on June 1.

"It didn't look great yesterday but I texted him last night and I am glad that he is OK because you never like to see that happen to anyone," Daley said.

After leaving the field in a neck brace after a 23rd minute collision with Canterbury five-eighth Josh Reynolds and taken to hospital for scans, Farah was discharged on Sunday night and arrived home to find his former NSW team-mate waiting for him.

"Want to thank him for the concern he showed me on the field and looking after me while I was on the ground concussed," Farah posted on Instagram. "One of my best mates and silly for anyone to think that what happened was anything but an accident."

The pair may be reunited next week in Origin I but the chances of Reynolds being recalled after being dropped for last year's series are likely to depend on the form of Sydney Roosters halfback Mitchell Pearce before the Blues line-up is announced next Monday.
