Andrew Moore is only good at criticizing players from the comfort of his commentary box. It doesn't surprise me that he'd have nothing to say to a players face

You could say that about the majority of people here. They'll say a certain player is the worst ever, yet at fan days, they'll line up for their autograph.

Apparently Johns and Farah spoke today - and it didn't end all that well - **Farah basically said 'good luck getting any more players on the show'**.

Thats getting a bit petty isn't it? We're going to slowly become hated like the Roosters or Manly.
The team has been labelled soft in all forms of media throughout the start of the season, thats no surprise its pretty common knowledge IMO. The Benji/Farah blue has been going on for years, I don't see how he saw that one as a shock either. The Sheens rumours come out once every so often. I mean honestly what was Robbie expecting? Suspension must be tough? You've been a bit unlucky this year? Where did you buy your shoes?
For Robbie to say he was ambushed is like having Julia Gillard say she was ambushed having an interviewer ask her about the carbon tax which happens in just about every interview.
The only way he could say he was ambushed was the timing of it, how they cut straight from Anasta and Wazza to Matty and Robbie.
Surely we have bigger things to worry about than a few questions on NRL on Fox…

on FOX tonight I noticed all of the commentators bagged Moltzen. Out of all the players rated, he was bagged by all those on the panel being Johns, Guyer, Kent, Ikin.

Kent disagreed with the others.

You criticise Johns by claiming he was overshadowed by his brother. Who wasn't? Andrew was the best player ever. Or his time at the sharks - It was the twilight of his career! Take off your orange tinted glasses.

Johns mentioned the Tigers were premiership favorites & Farah took offence. :crazy You'd have thought Johns said they were favorites for the wooden spoon.

Johns asked about the defence being soft, he tried to answer

Farah did answer & chose to deny it.

Johns is an awful interviewer. He sat there repeating how we were soft but not once elaborated on where we were going wrong in particular

Yes he did. He said "48 missed tackles last week is a good impersonation of soft." :laughing:

i dont understand why our leader had to twitter this. best interview i've seen since Rex Mossop. Why is our leader looking for sympathy? to tell you the truth guys - i thought robbie was tougher than all this.

i thought he held himself well in the interview, it was the carrying on after that i guess disappointed me…
to go and cry on twitter in this day and age is moronic... especially when you call it an 'ambush' after you have been pre warned the questions an hour prior to the interview.. this is only a drama because farah made it one..

Exactly. It's ridiculous that people need to know what they're going to be asked anyway.

To a certain extent he was ambushed. If Farah was told the questions before he went on and decided to not go on the show due to the questions, there would have been a big commotion on how Farah was supposed to be on the show tonight but didn't like the questions blah, blah, blah…..

For the record i have no problem with the questions asked, and thought Farah handled it very well, except for the twitter part. It wasn't neccessary or required.
I only wish Matty was the same "hard hitting" journo when Joey was having his problems, but then again, Joey may have felt ambushed.

Robbie is a great player and the leader of our team. He will use this as ammo for our comeback this Sunday and if needs be he will probably bring it up around finals time. I'm taking some of the $2+ on offer head to head against the rabbits. See all you so called supporters at the game! Before you get into me, I know Robbie is out along with others. We will still win.

The questions were fair in my opinion, they did not deserve the reaction Farah gave. Petty stuff from Robbie really

biggy that's a bit harsh don't you think..i find him the same all the time not much expressions at all….defiantly not tv material after footy...johns has now set the bar...he will have to do the same to other players from struggling clubs to be consistent
