Robbie's next Game

I don't know how Robbie is handling this , i hope he takes the time he needs to grieve in private. I wish him and his family all the strength ,love and support they need at this difficult time.

ATM i think a lot of people want to support Robbie and do something for him .

I propose to the forum and any person who calls them self a WESTS TIGERS supporter , that we all go to Robbie's next game and make sure there is big crowd to support him . When ever it is , ( Newcastle or other ) let's be there to support Robbie and pay our respects the only way we can.

I think the best way to show our support for Robbie , is the have an extra few thousand ( or more ) at his next game .

I know a lot of us would be there anyway , but if your not one I those , let's be there .

What do you all think ?

I like it. It is hard to predict what will happen as everyone deals with loss differently. However in Robbies situation, one would expect he is desperate to be a part of the first winning NSW team in 7 years and is also such a club man that I have a feeling we may see him at Newy next week.

From personal experience I can say that the greiving process takes years. Sometimes it is good to occupy yourself. It will be a very draining week for him….

As much as I love him, I think he deserves a break from next weeks game. Wish him all the best.

I think it's a spectacular idea. Unfortunately the next game is a Monday night at Newcastle, so even if people tried as hard as they can to get there, it is going to be very hard. I think the next home game against the Bulldogs is a perfect chance to show our support - pack out the SFS for the Friday night clash, and when Robbie runs out for the warmup and the game, let him and the team know we're all there to support them.

Had the same thought.
And while last week we were tossing up whether to get to Newcastle or not; have now decided to find a way no matter what to be there to show support for Robbie and the boys….whether he is playing or not.

Urge you all to do the same despite the long trip and work night...now is the time to stand up and be counted!

Go Tigers!!!!

Getting to Newcastle on a Monday night will be a nightmare, especially if you leave after work kinda thing.

I hope he takes all the time he needs… But not too long, we miss him on the field also.

I reckon he will play Monday. Without doubt.
Just as mum would have it.

wont he be in Blues camp? Or does that start Tuesday?

Players selected for origin who are involved in a Monday night fixture would join the SOO Camp Tuesday…..

I would think, especially since this is the Women in League round, he is almost a certainty to play against Newcastle. It will probably be one of the hardest games of his life too, so any support we can muster would go a long way…

I believe the best thing for Robbiie is to play this Monday . And if he does , i am 100% certain that he will be man of the match

Thats great news mate. I think it can be very healthy to continue on. Grieving cant be done in a couple of weeks. It is a long drawn out process. Robbies team mates would be nearly as close as his family. Between them and his relo's, he will deal with it over time.
