the last television shot as moses kicked a goal was of jennings.
he still looks overweight.
a front rower in the making?

I want to stat by saying I like Maguire as coach but I can’t understand why it took so long to bring back on Aloiai and also so late to give Chee-kam a go Jennings has to go along with marsters and sorry to say Lawrence

Momorovski is the only option to replace him. Don’t think he will set world alight but reckon has more upside than Jennings. Fargo is in a role but Jennings was woeful today.

@kl Not sur eabout that. I was pretty close to him today and at times the look on his face showed he knew he was having a shocker. He tries but he doesn't have it. Too slow, no agility

He looks like he’s not interested. Runs more metres sideways. Couldn’t believe he stuck his foot out and put a 5th tackle kick into touch. Led to Fergo’s late try. Dumb play.

I am not sure what is going on. He didn’t just finish with the bunnies he ran hard and made big metres. This year he just runs back slowly and submits in every tackle or gets forced backwards. I believe he has the talent there but needs to discover form in reserve grade.
I would give Kane Bradley and Tommy Talau a run and drop Mbye and Jennings.

Mbye was decent...... he did do that bowling style pass to jennings, and made a few good runs

But yeah jennings is a dud

Again my favourite topic (especially after such an enjoyable afternoon): Recruitment and Retention
1. Why would Jennings be considered a better prospect than Fonua? Neither are great but at least Fonua offers something yet next year we have Jennings but not Fonua
2. At any stage, in any meeting, did someone not look at our roster and say “gee maybe we need a goal kicker!”
I can handle the odd good player getting away. I can handle the odd dud purchase but by Christ, we make it our specialty have have so for years. Even last year with a full purse we somehow managed to screw it up again.
And as a result we all have to enjoy Sunday’s like today - week after week, year after year. Rant far from over - just beginning I feel.

It definitely was a weird one. Winger was one spot we did not need another player with Thompson, Nofa and Mahne all there.

Jennings used up the last remaining 300 or so we had.

Which cost us DWZ, who has been pretty big in helping the Dogs improve.

Opportunities for tries and line breaks for wingers are very dependent upon the team around a player but tackle break % should remain pretty steady for players that make a lot of runs. He has gone from a tackle break % of 21.7 in 2018 with Souths down to 8.8 in 2019 with us...21.7 isn't elite for a winger but it's pretty good. 8.8 is dreadful and is reflective of his lack of effort or fitness or something...he's not what he was last year and it's not just the players around him.

Do not forget who brought us this ultimate Plodder ... does not give any confidence on future signings.

He is sort of rocks and diamonds

but more rock than diamond...a lot more rock

He didn't stick his foot out. Looked to me like he clumsily tangled himself in knots trying to get out of the way. We've all be there. lol

@rustycage fair enough. It looked like that from where I was sitting directly above. Not what we needed in the moment. I’ll give him credit for safely taking his bombs though. It could have been worse.

@Demps
for some time now, Tigers recruitment drive --- play great for a few weeks get signed for a few years, then just switch off, seems a recurring problem at the tigers, Finally some consistency yay
