Hey guys, long time lurker but first time posting. Just thought I’d give some background on Adam hartigan. Went to school with him at patrician brothers and he was an unbelievable player. Would have played first grade if it weren’t for a devastating injury in which he was air lifted from the field and left with metal plates in the jaw and unable to play again. He was coached by Matt Cameron, current head of football at Penrith I now believe and previously reserve coach at a number of clubs. He coached Harold mats and sg at roosters before coaching the women’s team. He was an amazingly sharp guy for a footy player and a top bloke to top it off.
He’s also only 33 and grown up with all the guys at the roosters so I’m sure has a lot of great connections.
Personally I’m looking forward to what Adam can bring to the club and wish him the best of luck ahead at our mighty club

No he had 2 roles at the Roosters, he was in charge of recruitment and also coached the Women's team!

Our juniors were in pretty good shape when McDonnell was at the club. Maybe that will be part of his role. Seems like a small pool of people who are appointed in these positions and so move from club to club.

Once again as I read some of the comments re this thread it just verifies how stupid and ill-informed many of the posters are.

I think McDonnell might have been quite happy to part company with the Bulldogs as they set out to self-implode AGAIN, with Dean Pay resigned only a few months back and now to be replaced at season's end with Justin Holbrook. By the way I think you all might find that when McDonnell left last time he had already lined up the job at the Dogs.

Also I was always of the belief that McDonnell was our leg into Keebra Park.

Sometimes I wonder if this club trolls us fans. Warren McDonnell when did he get punted by the dogs?
Oh well good luck to him and Adam. At least one of them knows what they are getting into.
We should as a forum run a book, who will be the next one to return (obviously they would have to have been employed in some capacity by the club in 2005)?
I'm hoping Royce's back. Those training cones have never been set up as well since. Bloody insane he hasn't been approached yet

@Telltails Seems to me the two will be busy moving along those players unwanted by Maguire and signing talent for the NRL team. Hopefully Dave Warwick stays as junior recruitment officer.
