What a game! Best I've seen in a long while. It certainly made up for me missing the Sharks/Cowboys game on earlier :laughing: If our guys can defend even half as well next year as the Roosters have this year then I'll be very happy.

This is what you get with this vastly superior finals format. The top four teams going at it tooth and nail in week one. Glorious. Just think of how many wonderful games like this one that we've missed out on because of the stupid McIntyre System.

The Roosters finished 13th last year…

Yes they've picked up a wealth of talent in the off season, but it just goes to show what a change in coach can do as well. Their purchases are noted attacking weapons, but to hold the opposition to nil six times in one season is a change in attitude.

Would love to see the Tigers one day perform as consistently as the likes of Manly and Melbourne who have consistently finished around the Top 4 for the last 7-8 years
