Roster Breakdown: 2024-2029

Removing Stefano & Papali’i and replacing them with Hunt & Bird. It’s a concern.

I don’t fully buy into the wooden spoon pack argument, our outside backs and youth in general were a bigger liability.
Yes just the starting 17 in general

Watch how well he goes playing that middle rotation with the Panthers next year.
I can imagine all the post when that happens,

people in the main will dismiss his form in 2025 …will just excuse it away by saying it’s because of his new team-mates

He will go well, but it will be a tough slog.

He has the boots of James FH to live up too and IMHO he isn't at that level. Good player, but not at that level.

From day 1 Paps did not want to be in a team coming 17th. We have burned him, he ain't coming back.

Middle forwards: Fa'agutu, Hunt, Klemmer, K. Laulili'i, Miller, Pole, Twal, Matamua*, Si. Fainu*

Halves: L. Fainu, Galvin, Luai, Doueihi*, Sullivan

Hookers: Da Silva, Koroisau

asterisk denotes future unknown. figured I'd include the development players to give you a better idea.

Looks to be an unbalanced squad that is heavily in favour of outside backs, particularly with the added dominance of the development places and at this stage including Doueihi who was also playing there this season.

The middles are light on, even if you added Porter as a development player amongst them or the edge.

If that’s what we end up taking into 2025 season , get ready for wooden spoon number 4 , forwards are weaker than this season , yes we have a muck , much better backline , but forwards are needed, so those backs can shine . A lot of those kids should never have been upgraded to the top 30 , we never seem to get the balance of the squad right

8. Terrell May *
9. Apisai Koroisau (C)
10. Alex Twal
11. Samuela Fainu
12. Jack Bird
13. Kobe Hetherington *

14. Latu or Tallyn
15. Sione Fainu
16. Royce Hunt
17. Fonua Pole

Say goodbye to Klem and Bateman.
Seyfarth, cup / depth

Now that's decent 🔥
We have to somehow free up 3 spots for that to happen. Like it!

Bateman, Klemmer and Naden.

Miller, Bud, Starford also. 😄
These* are the type of guys we want for depth though... Guys with plenty NRL experience, helping the Reggie's team put pressure on firsts and providing capable back up for injuries suspension etc.
We don't wanna Reggie's team full of kids fresh from flegg

*less Bateman and miller

Are we paying Klem 800k to play somewhere else? Who will pick up that contract?

How can you possibly start Twal,at best he is in my 17.I would rather have Seyfarth in the 17 with Pole starting. It is more balanced and no history of concussion issues unlike Twal

Twal has more years on his contract than Klem.
Tightens up the defence for the opening minutes.

Seyfarth has a role.
Just gotta make some moves.
