Warriors having a meeting today with Metcalf over his future. He would be filthy he is relegated to the Reggies, would the disgruntled half back be worth chasing?
He's still very young and will get even better with more experience.

Ridiculous that is management isn't doing that. So what he plays a few games off the bench. If the side is winning you don't change it. He came In against us and that was the main reason why we won that game. If your a so called team player then he should shut up, put his head down and get back in by playing good footy.

Latu & Sam F plus I would add KPP & Pole extend these guys and we go along way forward with serious team structure , Latu is still a concern with his injuries , if he got hurt in the next few weeks it could be a case of reserve grade deal only , we may need a half or we run with Madden and AD
Roberts could be a Smokey to extend if he goes well over next few weeks , big unit and young ,

If Benji pulls off the re-signing of Samuela, it will be a massive achievement especially in this climate with Perth & PNG throwing around money like there's no tomorrow.

I see Roberts as a big hard to stop prop with an off-load.
I hope we extend his contract. I thought he showed promise in his NRL debut.
However, I think he is a bit slow as a second rower IMO. Just looking into my crystal ball.

We should have a real crack at Billy Smith from the Rorters for 2027 .. he seems to be the odd man out most games .. 18th or 19th man for the Rorters .. a good centre with speed and strength .. tonight on the wing for the missing Daniel Toupu..

Think we need to have a crack at a few players.
Both for a starting role and depth.

Not a lot of quality available though.

Rocco Berry, maybe... as a back up.
See what we can shake from the tree, as they say. Be good to land a contracted player of suitable quality.

I feel like the roster is pretty set for 2027 and wouldn't expect too much to change
We might sell a Hunt or Toa or Seyfart and upgrade a few contracts - Murray, Sukkar, Skelton etc
Need to get some reps into Tavana, Roberts and Haywood now as they will become fixtures in 2027

Need one more experienced wing/centre, backrower and a one year experienced back up hooker

This roster can win a premiership

Don't you know the players are actually paying Roosters to have the opportunity to play with them? But, to be honest, yeah, it does show the lie to salary cap spreading out the talent. TPA's are rampant within that environment. Maybe TPA should also be regulated and capped for a club too.

When the NRL released each clubs TPA’s a few years ago I’m pretty sure the Roosters were middle of the road (at least on the NRL books)
