I'd take a punt on Tautau Moga. Cows cant keep him as they are heavily invested into a few young guns. He has had some bad runs with injury, and is due for a good clear run injury-free. Big & Strong!

Not sold on Moga, had talent, but has had 5 knee reconstructions in 7 years and there are plenty on this forum saying Ballin is finished after 2

Huge questions marks over Moga due to the injuries, but may be worth a punt if the money is right. Had huge hype over him a few years back, but he's seemingly (and unfortunately) spent that whole time in hospital.

balin is mid 30s and his last 2 seasons have ended because of knee problems, at his age it is much more difficult to get over them.I hope he does fully recover but i have massive doubts

Don't think Ballin is going to make it through preseason, i hope they don't ease him through the trials, leave him on the field for the opening 20 and final 20 (or longer) so you get some comfort that his knee is a chance for the year, not that trials are NRL matches.

Wouldn't it be ironic if we go into season 17 with only one recognized dummy half…..in Liddle that is. I did hear somewhere don't know where but Littlejohn may in the off season be training for a dummy half role. He maybe our lucky charm in a way 3/3 when he played if I'm not wrong. I think he has to be in the 17 somewhere tho.

Yeah I don't mind that as an idea. Sue scored at least one try playing on the edge against the Warriors a few weeks ago and is a handful out there in attack.

I believe Bailey Sironen has much to offer and seems to have been forgotten. To me there should be at least six new players in the squad. We have some bright talent in the lower grades including secondrow forwards (Marsters, GIles, McCormack) as well as two good young right side centres in Moses Suli and Tony Tali.

It's about right the number of big holes in our list. Some could be filled with incumbents with off season improvements, some spots available for emerging juniors and bargain basement recruits.

March 2017 is too far away but I'd like to see guys like JJ Felise and Jordan Grant given a go at some stage.

I think Felise makes a big difference to our team. He was one of our better props every time he played.
