OFFICIAL Round 1 Discussion *spoilers*

After a poor 20mins Bulldogs off the back of Mahoney have turned themselves around somewhat.

Burton’s options and kicking game has been shocking. 2 kicks out on the full and pass to Kikau 30mtrs out on own line on the last for him to Kikout on the full (had to do that). JAC had a massive brain snap that was close to costly.

Kyle sin bin was a tough call thought.

Bulldogs haven’t used Pele but geez their bench and front row so far have been smashed.

All the Bulldogs attack is down the left side (Kikau) and is very predictable.

Perham has been solid at the back and doing some hard work mid sets.

Manly forwards have been dominate and Turbo is very very rusty as expected.

Manly should be up by 20 though.
 
Am I the only one that hasn't been impressed by any of the teams playing so far except maybe the Broncos for their defence? Doggies don't look that great, Penrith seem to be struggling in attack without Api and Parra vs Storm was an error fest. We play alright tomorrow and get a win and for me there's no reason we can't make the eight with what I've seen from everyone else.

Round 1 games are usually very scrappy

It’ll take a month or so to get a feel for the competition
 
Never seen Kikau this ineffective before.

He is getting bent back nearly ever hitup and already looking gassed with 25mins remaining.
