Round 1 team

Pretty much sorted for the first few rounds now. Just a winger to be confirmed and 1 or 2 bench spots.

I would love to see A.Fafita get a bench spot. Give Payten time to fully recover and give Fafita a chance.

I'm willing to predict right now that once Fafita gets his opportunity in first grade, he'll make it very hard for Sheens to drop him. I can see him becoming an Adam Blair type player. A real X-factor in the forwards. I'm actually more excited about him then any of the new signings, including Tuquiri.

yes, ive seen A. fafita play the last couple of trials for wests and yes he Is certainly without doubt,, a star of the future.

what do you mean? have had better first grade careers , none of them have made it yet, lol mate give it away..

lol ,dumbest post ive seen in a long time.get your self to a game once an awhile..

To be fair tomcat you are yourself judging Meaneys capabilities and experience based on very limited exposure.

Exactly, champ. So as I said earlier, Meaney has done as much as Pritchard and Davis.

You should probably ease up on the monday arvo eye openers.

no he hasn't done as much, im pretty sure pritchard is still trainning with first grade , and i know meany isnt.

So again, what have they done in FG that Meaney hasn't?

Meaney shouldn't be near the FG side for round 1, but picking Pritchard or Davis would be just as ridiculous.

mate , ive seen a hell of a lot of davis and co, in fact watched every game they played last year and the 2 trials they have played this year, i think that puts me in a better position than you when it comes judging on wether davis and pritchard are ready for firsts or not.and im telling you now, pritchard and davis are miles ahead of meaney..

Just asking how many games of Meaneys you actually have to make that comparisson?

We all have our bias and that is fine but to question someones ability to judge players position and actually having limited exposure to the comparrisson is highly flawed

Tomcat I have stated my preference for Meaney as fullback in round 1 and my reasoning behind it. With my opinion there is a certain bias no doubt.

The only issue I have with what you have said is in the same series of posts that someone who has not seen Davis & Pritchard in any great amount of games is in no position to comment on how they compare to others and than make similar comments about Meaney in the same circumstance of limited exposure.

You have a preference for Davis and Pritchard and that is your bias for better or worse so to speak.

It would be like me saying that from the limited exposure I have had to Pritchard and Davis that they are no threat to Lawrence or Ayshford. I have not seen enough to make that judgement

ive seen meaney play smego, iv'e actually seen him play, ive watched him against wests ive watched him on fox.ive listened to other players comments, he goes ok i guess, but in my opinion no where near ready for firsts.
