Round 1 team

i highly doubt that sheens will bring in players that did not play in the last two trials with the majority of the squad.

if players like meaney, davis, pritchard and fifita were in sheens' mind for round one they would of at least made the squad for the trials and won't be picking them from relative obscurity so early in the season
 
I hope they are not rushing Benji back. Had a bad dream last night that he had hurt one of his legs again whilst playing.
 
your right bazz, they will play there contracted top 25 players first , no matter how bad there playing, likes of davis etc will have to wait, which is a shame.

I have got to agree with you Tomcat we do need a class fullback but who can fill that role, after seeing Moltzen i car,nt agree with him. but i think Sheens will play him there then move him to half then back to fullback then try someone else i would just like to see positons settled by players who play in those positons and not like a dogs breakfast. Hope it wont be too long before Sheens relizes we may have brought a couple of duds and the answers are under his nose,but whatever happens we will support the tigers
 
no one in first grade .unless we promote mullaney. but my sparing partners in WILLOW and SMEG inform me he's not ready?

It's not even round 1 without a single competition point being distributed, without any knowledge apart from an educated guess as to who the team is and yet you still criticise? Mate please give it a rest until we actually see who is named in the team, how they handle first grade and the result after Monday night Round 1! It is getting very tiresome.
 
Far from the point. I enjoy reading people's opinions and to gain different perspectives about some players, Davis and Pritchard included. I just think it's too early to criticise before Round 1 has even begun. If we play badly and no changes are made then I will be calling for certain heads no doubt but only after I watch the boys in action.
 
Sheens once stated Moltz is a good half but could be a great fullback. IMO I would have him at half but I am willing to give Lui time as I think he could be a perfect partner for Farah in attack while Moltzen and benji form another great attacking combo with Moltz chiming in from the back. But that said I am yet to see it happen, IMHO Im not sold on Moltzen at Fullback but I think Sheens may be onto something by persisting with Moltz at fullback, Sheens and co must see something we dont or haven't yet so I am willing to wait and see and just be happy the season is about to start.
