It’s funny some of these guys our coaching staff talked up in the offseason are already on the nose…why pump their tyres if you aren’t fully committing to them?
Talau, Blore, Tuki I’m sure there’s others I’ve missed.

So they should all be given a green light to firsts because they trained well in the pre-season? Talau has been oberly committed to, Blore consistently in the game-day squad, Tuki is in KOE which is a lot better than last year where he played some Flegg.

I don't know about that. A few warm up games to get things together, then unlucky not to have beaten Parra and Manly, now we're getting in to stride...bring 'em all on!

Understand your sentiment, but these 3 or 4 days of irrational hope are quite possibly the highlight of our season, so I'm going to enjoy it even though I know I'll regret it later.

The coaches were giving every indication that these guys were certainly going to figure prominently. They talked them up, not us.
One of them has since signed elsewhere reportedly, another is in and out like a yo-yo and the third hasnt even been mentioned again.
I find that funny as I treated everything coming out of the club over the pre season as bullshit, which has largely been proven.

If we can it will be the upset of the year but when I analyse
We have as good a forward pack if not better than souths
Our Fullback and Wingers are in good form basically it comes down to stopping the Cody and Latrell show which has been on fire last few weeks .
We need to rattle both of them and have them lose their cool
To win we need 80 min effort by all and to work as a team in defence and keep up those amazing 90% and 86% completion rates of last 2 weeks

Blore will be fine. This stint in Cup will help build his tank and get his timing back to where he wants it. We have to remember he had spent a fair bit of time on the sidelines.

It is absolutely unrealistic due to our start - not mathematically impossible, but it will be soon.
With this tight comp, you probably need 13 wins plus the three byes to make the 8....somewhere in the vicinity of 32 points. There are 15 games left for us and we probably need to win 11 of them to be safe...not gonna happen.
We do need to win whatever we can to avoid a second straight spoon however and if that means the odd upset, good stuff.

Yeah, averaging a touch under 23 points in 9 outings, so much better, as we were 30% worse off under the previous coach.

It's funny when you think about Sheens's comments in the pre season about wanting to be an attacking team. Now we are almost halfway into the season and the team can barely put an attacking set together yet defend pretty well.

our forward pack is superior to souths pack we can and will dominate them, bash them into submission.

As for the backs if we can get down there end run the ball on the last and handover in the corners that negates latrell and walked to an extent.

I expect Bateman to get in the face of Cody and niggle him and he will go off the boil.
As others have said Graham on talau is a big worry.if we can just someone co train that.

As for Ilias he is one of the great downhill skiers,easy to look good when you have a spine of latrell, Walker and cook to throw to.

Expecting a huge games from Api and Brooks along with Klemmer, think we lift as a team to make sure we get Api into that blues side
