Sam Fainu could be special. He has it physically and the effort is great. Love watching him hit the line. Our only player who is dangerous when doing it.

In another miserable season, he and Galvin to a lesser extent, have been two beacons of hope.

Benji got some good foundations with that squad.

No offence Spartan, I reckon Benji’s got some reo and 3 cubes of concrete. That’s it. Can’t build anything without framing, a roof, plumbing electrical and some finishing. We keep going around in circles as a club. Every years the same. Some hopeful signings who are probably better than we expected but it all leads to Jack.
I can’t see how we win another game without some freakish luck going our way or against the other side.

We were looking like we were going to get pumped after 20, we dragged ourselves back within 4 and crumble again. We're losing no way to sugar coat that but in previous seasons we would have been lapped. We don't have an NRL standard squad yet we keep hanging in there minus the results.
We are such a frustrating team we don't look overly fit, theres a huge amount to work on but there's something to work with we desperately need a cleanout again with a better standard of player coming in.

Is he? He’s no more than an average NRL fullback and that’s the only criteria we can judge him on.

In fact if we named all 17 first choice fullbacks I dare say at this stage of his career, he’d likely be below average.

I don’t think we dragged ourself back, Cows clocked off. Soon as they clocked backed on we were really nowhere.
