Mason doesn’t have much ball playing ability but given Bula has basically been playing 6 on the right side it should allow Mason to sweep around and using his running game.

As long as he makes his tackles and doesn’t try any fancy bat ons or cut out passes he should be okay.

Very rarely kicks. I think the bulk of it will fall on Luai and Api.

Mason is a good chance of a couple of linebreaks with his explosive speed off the mark. I hope weve been preparing for guys like Luai, Bula and Staines to be alert and back him up.
We cant have a repeat of Api looking around hopelessly to find no one was with him....

He’s a good little player. Just has been played out of position so far. There is value in him if he can find he’s niche.

I reckon he would make a good 14 in a perect world with a fully fit team. Would do some damage around the ruck with his running style. He's got ability thats for sure.

He has a few similarities to Jye Gray.

That bench though 😳. With Pole out, it really highlights the lack of NRL middle/prop depth at the club, on top of the lack of edge forward depth too.To those saying there's an 80-minute prop which allows the bench to be a little different in its composition, I say that 80-minute prop was burnt out by round 10 and 11. Hopefully he's had some recovery in the bye week. In the run home though, there need to be an addition or three of NRL-list quality middle and edge forwards.

Yeah the bench is a red flag. We are desperate for more depth.

Some better forwards we are all holding our breath, every day that goes by with no signings feels like another pin stuck into the Tigers voodoo doll we can't take much more pain.

I don’t have a lot of expectations for a bloke in his third game at a non preferred position to be much of a difference maker … hoping he can just hold it down … no excuses now for Luai failing to step up…

He played Rd 1 vs knights at fullback and although nippy off the mark he got smashed a few times and dropped a couple of bombs
His small stature makes him a bit of a target
