Which hopefully moves AD onto the bench in place of Jack Bird who hasn’t been offering much

Maybe he too can be wasted in Kit's role of keeping it warm for 80.

I think back to the early rounds when the bench was utilised as a weapon by bringing on strike towards half-time, with some even fondly recalling the bash brothers era. For the next two months we have watched choices such as Hunt and TDS being used for cameo appearances late in games already lost, and now our only bench prop is wasted as yet another loss has WT heading towards spoon territory.

A lot of talk about bench usage. When your bench are weak they are there for injuries.
Sad reality Twal, Pole are starters we don’t have any depth behind these guys. Reality has to be dealt with. Some people look for any reason to bag Benji.

I think when Twal & Pole come back we start Twal with May and have Pole & Kit come on as impact. Both nuggety players who can give us punch at the back end of halves

If we don't lock up Heath Mason long term 4 to 5 years we are drongos. I want to see a starting luai, finau as our halfs and heath owns the 14. Swap him and TDS forthnigtly for the rest of year. wow, your expectations must be very low if you think we are exceeding expectations after signing 6 first grade players. This is why this club will never succeed. We do not have high expectations and are happy to just participate. Mind set needs to change from the top down. Doing better than last or the last 3 years is not sufficient.

Fair enough, but this is a comp where a team with 5 origin players is sitting 1 point above us on the table. The comp is tight and we have lost 4 games by 6 or less and could have won the Souths game.

We are far more competitive in each game and for a team that has come stone motherless last for 3 years, that is a big change. Need a couple more decent players and we jag a few more wins. It's also clear to me that Galvin, for all his brilliance makes very little difference to the amount of points we score and Latu will be a more than adequate replacement - possibly even the better of the two.

The Dogs had a poor season when they rebuilt their squad in the first year and that's probably where we are now. More competitive without the polish.

We shouldn't have burnt our challenge so stupidly, could have won based on that.

It was a ridiculous challenge. There were so many hands up there and the ball pin balling between them that Bula could not have been sure whether he knocked on or not. The loss of that challenge could well have cost us the game given the two Luai penalties and the Sorensen hip drop.
