I think that's pretty standard for all fans - especially in a close one - but fortunately for other teams fans they don't lose as often as we do
 
If the game is going to nit pick on contact on kickers then take away the penalty goal option and award the penalty where the contact actually happened. That was a joke.

We got lucky when. I think it was Mason, clipped Talagi around the mouth, yet somehow it wasn’t penalised. Given how over protective the game is of contact to the head, I have no idea how it wasn’t penalised.

The penalty has been at the spot of where the ball lands ever since we were all twinkles in our father’s eyes.

The commentators and our coach were both all over it. Immortals and Hall of Famers mind you. My point is about the increased emphasis on protecting kickers, much like they are with QB’s in the NFL. If the balance is shifted towards the attack then perhaps the penalty should not be so harsh.

Not arguing what the rule actually is, I’m suggesting that maybe it should change.

We got calls go our way too. As I said above we got lucky Mason wasn’t penalised for the clip around Talagi’s head. Players have been binned for that this year. Lucky for us, the NRL are bipolar, and their care factor depends on what day of the week it is. Lucky for us, yesterday was a day they couldn’t care less.

Agree with your comments. The question is why? What do they practice six days a week. Deficient coaching has to be an issue?

That’s a poor example where the experts on TV were laughing at the bloke for lying down. Yes, bad calls go both ways in the NRL no doubt. We’ve just had a bad run of them lately and there’s nothing wrong with calling that out, our coach thought he should do so in the presser.

Is there a conspiracy, I would say no.

Are we considered the strugglers of the NRL who are in the papers all week due to some adversity we are going through and could that enter the sub-conscious of those officiating. There’s enough evidence of that to suggest probably yes. Toddy Payten has called it out multiple times.

The solution, play better.

It’s not about whether he was lying down. He was clipped in the face. That’s a penalty 9 times out of 10. Regardless if the player is hurt.

For a tackle to be a hip drop, the defender drops their body weight onto an opponent’s legs in such a way as to constitute an unacceptable risk of injury. That did not happen. Sorenson's body did not end up on Bulas legs, in fact he ended up sitting on the ground beside him with his legs facing forward.
It was an excellent, desperate try saving tackle that prevented a certain try through skill.

Plenty of players have been charged with out the tackler landing on the attacking players legs. Sorensons feet wernt planted and he was pulling Bula down using his full body weight. The match review committee havnt charged him, though they didn't charge Leota for a text book crusher tackle either. So I'm not overly surprised. We will see that exact same tackle in another game and then I'll be very interested to see what they do then. Looked to me like a text book hip drop. It's about the risk of injury to the attacker.

I’m saying that the level of risk was not high, therefore no penalty warranted. It was a sort of bulldogging move (for those who watch Rodeo).
As for Leota…at the time I thought he didn’t get him properly - sort of off to the side? so I wasn’t surprised he wasn’t charged.
Have to have another look if that’s becoming controversial.

Because we would have 8 extra points this year if the ref got the calls correct. The tigers are doing more than other teams to win yet get too many calls against them unlike other teams in the comp. It’s not where you are on the ladder either, Parra is proof of that. Look at the forward passes they get away with tonight against the doggies.
