Meh. I'd like to have won but we may as well lose games like that this year rather than next. Overall they played okay and deserved to win. Conceding twice from kicks hurts in a tight game.

Looked like a carbon copy of the dogs game. Long spells of decent play punctuated by disastrous errors then a flurry of points. Couldn't push it on at 19-18.

Canberra’s tries came from 3 kicks and a penalty. That is one of the flukiest wins I’ve ever seen.

That's because they're prepared to back their defence... They know we have no attack, don't blame the refs... It's tactics

I am not blaming the referee for the result - but his officiating was disgraceful for the most part. It takes 65 minutes of them blatantly slowing down the ruck and giving away 6 against to wake up to the tactic? The loss of the challenge early was a problem - but on the evidence even if they upheld the call the challenge should have been kept. No play was made at the ball, the hand may have been on it but he dropped it cold.

Hard to mount an attack when the Defence is slowing the ruck down so much and getting away with it.

Api can play 80 from now on - Simpkin has shown it is time he is offloaded.

It played a part but there was heaps wrong with our attack. I thought Api overplayed his hand and Brooks wasn't involved enough.

There were some real good performances out there though. Pole is a weapon. Wakeham has been huge for us. Bateman is a really good player. I think he overplayed his hand a little as well.

Starford Toa has really come on under the new coaching team. He is so elusive and has secured that right centre position.

Impossible to get a quick play the ball. The refereeing was disgraceful. He allowed the Raiders to slow down the ruck the whole game until the sin bin. Finally get some space and we convert. Third man in lifting legs when the tackle was effected - absolute joke.

That was not a penalty or a reportable offense - Ice was trying to block the kick - his trajectory was in line with the kicker but there was no attempt to tackle him. He simply slid into the player who was on the ground not in the air. Corrupt NRL right there.

It's a penalty FFS, U can't touch a kickers leg stop whinging we lost that game because we were slow and let them dominate for the middle 40 minutes. Good effort, I would have enjoyed it if we weren't 15th.

Correct it was a penalty.
But watch the last play, Hudson Young hits Brooks leg as he shanks the field goal.
If Brooks flops and goes down holding his leg, we would have got a penalty also.

Unnecessary - Pole could’ve just passed. We had them outnumbered 4-2.
