It played a part but there was heaps wrong with our attack. I thought Api overplayed his hand and Brooks wasn't involved enough.

There were some real good performances out there though. Pole is a weapon. Wakeham has been huge for us. Bateman is a really good player. I think he overplayed his hand a little as well.

It was a tough take but he seemed to be trying to slap in back when he probably could have caught it.

Tigers played as well as refs allowed. Canberra is a physically tough team and we lacked grunt off the bench to capitalise when their starters went off.

We are not far away a few more players to this squad and we will drastically improve. This team is a halfback, lock, centre and bench prop away from doing some damage.

If Api plays 80 we win that game.

Didn’t Luke’s leg get contacted on that last field goal attempt? I think if you slow it down it looks like they did. If so why isn’t that a penalty?

Canberra 's defence on the goal line for the 1st 60 minutes won the game for them. IP penalty cost us but one of those technical penalties that seem to always go against us when it counts.

Their defence was good, but a good deal of it was because they were allowed to get away with giving away 6 agains repeatedly.

That it took some 67 minutes for the referee to do something about it stifled WT right up until that point.

Raiders scored three tries without a line break - they won on the back of the bounce of the ball and a good chase. It was a committed performance

Impossible to get a quick play the ball. The refereeing was disgraceful. He allowed the Raiders to slow down the ruck the whole game until the sin bin. Finally get some space and we convert. Third man in lifting legs when the tackle was effected - absolute joke.

Yep, I don’t think us scoring three tries in that period was a consequence of Raiders being down to 12 men as much as it was them just getting back on side on their line and actually playing by the rules.

Looking back on the game and after watching the last few runs from Pole I actually think Klem and Uto didn’t have the same intensity as they have had in past games. Seyfarth also had little to no impact and we need a better option off the bench.

Well written. These performances will be in the minds of players thinking of joining the WTs. The team has spirit, doesn't give up and we have a few genuine young match winners in the team.
