LEICHHARDT OVAL SOLD OUT!

General Public Allocation Exhausted for this clash between the Wests Tigers and the North Queensland Cowboys at the 8th Wonder of the World, Leichhardt Oval.

This will be the first of only three games at Leichhardt Oval this season before redevelopment begins, making Saturday’s match even more special for those lucky enough to be there.

Be there to support the Tigers and soak up the atmosphere that makes Leichhardt one of rugby league’s most iconic suburban grounds.

Kick-off: Saturday, 3PM

Location: Leichhardt Oval aka 8th Wonder and the soon-to-be Fortress of the Wests Tigers
Seriously, where else would you rather be?

Saturdays game does not have a curtain raiser yet Magpies KOE Cup is at Lidcombe that same day at 2pm preceded by SG Ball preceded by Harold Matt’s. Then Jersey Flegg is on next day Sunday at Leichhardt.
Why would you not have a curtain raiser for paying fans and provide those players with great experience playing in front of a packed house? What am I missing here?
It seems fairly simple doesn't it. They're morons.

Both 🤷‍♂️ but seriously, I can’t remember coming home from a sold out Leichhardt game satisfied in a long long time. Even when we win, it’s scrappy heart attack material stuff
That game vs cronulla last year was pretty satisfying. There was a game in 24 where we put 36 on Manly... most disappointing was the loss to the cows last year though

LEICHHARDT NOW A BEER NECESSITY

It’s one of rugby league’s great simple pleasures – watching footy from the hill at historic Leichhardt Oval on a sunny day with a cold beer in hand.

From this Saturday, the ground famously known as the Eighth Wonder of the World will have its own dedicated beer, known as Leichhardt Lager.

Venue management and hospitality group VenuesLive has teamed up with Sydney Brewery and Inner West Council to deliver an easy-drinking brew that has a tribute to Leichhardt Oval on the can.

Leichhardt Lager will be on sale for the first time at all bars across Leichhardt Oval for this Saturday’s Wests Tigers-North Queensland Cowboys match, kicking off at 3pm.

Daily Tele mentioned here that Latu now out until at least round 7. Boy is made of glass....

Starford To’a missed selection due to an injury that will ground him for at least a few weeks, with Heamasi Makasini to start at centre and Luke Laulilii on the wing.

Adam Doueihi is the preferred halfback to start the season with Latu Fainu (shoulder) expected out until at least Round 7.

Terrell May will play despite requiring hospitalisation for an infection last week.

May will play reduced game time in 2026 after averaging 73 minutes last season.

Hyped up, sold out Leichardy game where we are starting favourites.

Good for us because we always win these big home games where we start as favourites.

Walk in the park.

Nothing in Rugba League is better than a Sold Out Leichardt Oval
