LIVE GAME Round 20 vs. Rabbitohs

Live Game Discussion
What i learned from today's game against Souths

1.Aiden Sezer needs to know the KOE coaches name we can't just keep carrying players like him anymore
2. Latu Fainu should be our halfback until end of the season
3. Need a tackling coach asap
4. Need a strength and conditioner coach asap
5.Jordan Miller needs to back to KOE has so much potential but until he loses 20kgs and gains lateral ability he is wasted been played in first grade.
6. Adam Doueihi needs to stop been a ball hog

The youngsters looked alright apart from Miller - he looks way off the pace imo. But they are not going to play without error. Anyone who can't see a good combination in the making with TDS and Galvin just doesnt want to.

Not the size of the dog, it the fight apparently… I really don’t think an few inches matters, just the time in first grade

And that’s great, I’d prefer that, but all I’m saying is that there is 20 tackles in every game the same, it just depends on if the player is a week prick and stays down… the rule is a farce… if they are hurt then come off and send the player, same as head high crap… they have ruined the game.
I reckon it was worse than the typical hip drop ...when you wrap your foot around the opposition's leg it is at dog act levels .....you know the risk of injuring someone increases
I agree players have to harden up .....but that was low stuff from Sezer ....

I thought Souths forwards dominated the whole game and I wouldn’t dare say they couldn’t have beaten most teams at all
Well that’s your problem. Doesn’t make it true. They were puss, luckily they played a side full of older blokes not digging in and younger blokes playing well out of their depth.

He had a poor match in his last ressies game. Didn't play in any grade last week. Got promoted this week. I don't understand that.

I feel sorry for the kid because he's not NRL ready. Only thing I can think is that the club is most likely letting Naden and Alaimalo know they're not in plans next season by not selecting them.

He was poor against Manly, Souths, the Warriors and Jets. I was shocked when he was handed an NRL debut, even more so when he had a great game. Even his first half today was better than anything he's managed in KOE.

Laulilii's level is Jersey Flegg. He may progress to NRL standard one day but I won't be holding my breath.

One of the worst captain's knocks by Bateman. I have been one of his advocates till this week. When we needed leadership, high IQ & strong defence, he let his team mates down badly.
Agree. Ive defended him but he really let down the kids in the team this week. Sezar the same. He knows the rule and was just suspended for the same thing a few weeks ago. Hopefully Latu shoots the lights out.

There is a serious footballer in Sione Fainu and we have t even signed him for next season as yet.
Latu Fainu shows some glimpses of his talent also.
Talyn and Lachie Galvin showed what enormous potential they have, but they do both need to toughen up and defend stronger over the full 80mins.

1. Sezer may cop another month.
2. Agreed
3. Desperately
4. Yes for sure
5. Miles and miles away from being a proper first grader
6. I’d demote him. 1 good game and garbage since.
7. I’d like to add, Galvin touches the ball far too much. He doesn’t do very much with it of quality and makes some poor choices. TDS and Latu and Api when he returns, should run our plays.

Couldn’t agree more … take me back to Galvin on Taulagi earlier in the year. A lanky 80kg guy brings down a 100kg+ forward probably the only way he’s ever been taught

It’s just an awkward tackle … sin binning it is crazy. Unfortunately tackles like the one that happened on Hastings years ago and the Parra winger have made the refs crack down on it hard.
The difference back in the day was you slid off the hips down to the knees or ankles ....

Totally agree with Sione..he has progressed every time he takes the field..yet he is off contract
