Agree. And I'm sick to death of hearing how Luai, Tito, Api and others "bleed for Benji" and love playing under him.. I don't see too many of them showing a lot of passion out there or having a real dig for him... The attitude, to me, seems very casual and lack lustre..
I know they are terrible but why can't the coaching staff get them up for games. All other bottom teams compete. Why is that always our problem. Are we giving away participation awards at training just for turning up? This has been our problem for a while now it's ridiculous.

This team is just poorly coached. Benji is throwing spaghetti at a wall, hoping for a combo or selection to work and it shows he has no idea what’s he’s doing.
Our shape is disgusting, players are confused and there’s no cohesion.
Shows Benji’s lack of polish and attention to detail. He’s also too arrogant to surround himself with competent assistants that are able to coach this into the team.

Agreed it is a big concern.
Watching Parramatta and Souths both play with great intent, put their bodies on the line in defence, running the ball as hard as they can and moving the ball to their speed men outside whenever they could.
This showed it’s not as difficult as what we make it to be with our soft defence, half hearted running and inability to move the ball wide. Not selecting any pace in the team out wide is a problem within itself.
I know Richo is not the coach, but for the good of the team surely he speaks with Benji today or tomorrow and states we do not play injured players who cannot or will not do things anywhere near 💯.
We ensure we select at least one winger with speed.
We do something to ensure there is creativity and stop the constant one out running, we ensure players who are not willing to demonstrate good line speed do not play long minutes and we ensure we have a long kicking game with a much better kick chase and effort to contest high balls then what we keep showing.

That awful moment when your million dollar man can't spot a four man overlap and kicks it 30 metres down their fullback's throat.
While we don’t want to be giving away 6 agains or penalties and yes Seyfarth is prone to giving a few away, what about the players who make no effort to get back to marker or get back in the defensive line after making a tackle ?
They are much more the problem than the ones such as Seyfarth who regularly make every effort to get back to marker or get back in the defensive line and we have a few culprits who regularly make no effort at all, leaving us a man down in our defensive line.

This game is the one where we need to focus our recruitment. Seyfarth, Sukkar, Douihei, Skelton, Toa, Twal, Bird, Hope, Tuitoupou were outmatched.
KPP, Sam Fainu, Makasini would come into this side next year. That’s said we are 6 players short of competing against the best teams.
We hang in for 20 minutes each half and conceded three tries at the back end of each half. Like clockwork.

After breaking dry June/July last night i woke to the fact we got handled by a better drilled team, and that happens i get we lost, but what i cannot handle is how we lost, we were weak, lacking of coaching stood out more than anything else, our forwards did not run with intent or real purpose on a consistent basis, our kicking was poor and lacked direction. The two main leaders on the field last night Api and Jerome needed to get the team together and start commanding and directing but neither did that.
You rush Makasini in this current environment it is not going to end well.
After a quick fast forward rewatch a few things spring to mind.
Our boys are trying they really are but they are exhausted. The type of play we are using has worked for parts of the year but you cant miss 40 tackles a game scramble all the time for a full season.
We need cattle we need to stop overvaluing our players. Reallistically we have a handful of good first graders.
Player like Toa skelton syfarth sukkar the list goes on are not up to it as regular first graders playing long minutes. A lot could do a job as the next man up, but can't be in our first 17.
We need a general play kicker which is a massive problem if we are going latu and luai. Neither is really a great kicker both are a decent second option so how does that leave our halves.
We need forward up grades like tomoz. Our line speed is terrible and our first up contact worse. Need to go get some blokes that fix these problems
The problem overall with how we play and how players are being used is that its impossible to maintain coaches need to reevaluate our play.
Happy with the players buy in with benji but we seriously need to put people around him that challenge not yes men( of course I don't know if this is happening but its just what it appears like to me)

36-2 is pretty safe.
I have no issue blooding young outside backs next year or against lower teams at the back end of this year. Cowboys, Titans etc.
Sorry but that’s rubbish , we see every other week , where clubs are signing up and coming forwards that can’t get a run at there club , we got 1st grade spots That we can offer them and a huge cap to spent on them , it’s about time Richo got of his arse and start hunting these players that are in nsw cup not getting a run in 1st grade
