Agreed it is a big concern.
Watching Parramatta and Souths both play with great intent, put their bodies on the line in defence, running the ball as hard as they can and moving the ball to their speed men outside whenever they could.
This showed it’s not as difficult as what we make it to be with our soft defence, half hearted running and inability to move the ball wide. Not selecting any pace in the team out wide is a problem within itself.
I know Richo is not the coach, but for the good of the team surely he speaks with Benji today or tomorrow and states we do not play injured players who cannot or will not do things anywhere near 💯.
We ensure we select at least one winger with speed.
We do something to ensure there is creativity and stop the constant one out running, we ensure players who are not willing to demonstrate good line speed do not play long minutes and we ensure we have a long kicking game with a much better kick chase and effort to contest high balls then what we keep showing.

We have no edge forwards. It's very easy to defend against 11 men.
Blame Richo, he left us in this position when he couldn't get the deal done on a mid-season transfer of KPP.

Doesn't necessarily mean we lose them, but he is a huge reason as to why they signed in the first place. How many players around the league have signed because of the coach, and then end up leaving? Quite a few examples.

I'd even guess it's a part of why Luai has his clauses.

The problem is Benji has many faults that are there for all us supporters to see, but I get the feeling sacking him would cause more trouble than what it’s worth at the moment.
That’s why I say getting him to realise and own up to his mistakes could be the better option.
It’s a similar story with Luai, no doubt he’s trying hard, but grins performance aspect there is no way he’s delivering 1.2 million per season worth of value, but there is no halves in the open maker anytime soon that would be capable replacements, therefore we really need to leep him and try and make it work.

He can’t distance himself from it though, he’s our CEO and he has to own it as much as anyone else. After all it was his appointment that was supposed to turn our fortunes as a club around.
