Sheens selections have cost us games this year if we had Laurie & Brooks as our halves all year we would have won more than 3 games absolutely pathetic by the coach & to all those Daine Laurie critics on this forum he just showed everyone tonight that he could be a quality number 6 & will only get better in that position with more experience there & its unbelievable that some people here would say Wakeham is better what a joke.
 
It’s a unanimous decision that Wakeham and Talau were way below standard and were our two biggest weaknesses.
To get beat by a very ordinary Dragons side I think it’s fair to say there must more than just two players not playing up to standard.
Who else can be identified as not playing well enough to help us get a win ?

Mate, Laurie has played a number of incompetent, chicken shit games for this club. There’s a reason he was banished to reserves for most of the year.

Tonight wasn’t one of those games and he was the only one likely to create. Best I’ve seen him play since the Townsville trip last year.

He just needs to understand what being offside means

Plenty have been inconsistent in this team and have still been given opportunity. Laurie has not been afforded much of an opportunity since being dropped in Rd 2.

They also score after a lost ball in the tackle where Ravalawa held on for an eternity and shoulda been six to go to us sees them get a turnover and score
 
In the end it was the same old story.
The Dragons miss 22 tackles in the first half but we don't have a half that can capitalize on it.
Unfortunately that doesn't change for the rest of the year.

Then there must be something more than on field performance going on with him. I liked his play last night, especially his defence. Also liked it his dummy spit when wakeham kicked it dead.
