Dragons annual slide a tradition like no other.

Mate I wish they were on a few less points down the ladder, closer to 8th spot because they would definitely be the ones we could catch. It's possible they won't win another game before the finals, but the 6 point margin will be too much for us to close now.

Brisbane are our only chance to overtake, but I'm not confident they will keep losing games the way St George are, especially with the refs on their side.

I blame Widdop for the Dragons slide, they haven't been the same since he went blond :laughing:

True, I'd forgotten they were playing those two teams. Will mean nothing though if we don't beat Canberra tomorrow. We really can't afford to lose any at this stage.

Me too, but if they keep playing like this they might just shake it off. Many of the bottom teams are playing well at the moment, trying to avoid the spoon. I'm thinking either the Dogs or Titans might take it out now, though I would still love to see Mitchy boy get it, despite his excellent game tonight.

It's hard to believe a team with the talent they have can play as badly as they have for the past month. I can understand why we faltered after the first six weeks, but the Saints team is stacked with Origin and International players, playing like they've all been doped.
