He's still very young and very raw. Dogs should have kept him in reserve grade this year.It's his long-term criticism - he's good at getting himself on the front foot but not so good at bringing other players forward.
His biggest asset is competitiveness. The almost line break he made on the left hand, he was the one that passed the ball on the R side of the field, the player got tackled and he ran all the way across the field to create an extra man. That's something you can't coach and Galvin does it week in, week out, unlike a player like Douehi.
Still has lots of weaknesses such as a kicking game and lack of deception, or slight of hands as a half.
The Bulldogs lost this game due to lack of aggression, and tbh I feel they have never played with aggression. Mahoney is niggly, but not aggressive. Maybe when Leo Thompson gets there, he might help them out. Dogs had better line speed all game, but we still managed to win contact most of the time.
