Yeah fair enough but that was a better performance than what’s been lately, definite improvement.

Pretty good

Our forwards made a lot of tackles yet couldn’t prevent roll-ons. That tells me that there were lots of soft, non dominant tackles amongst that lot…these are Api and May specials.
We ran around a heap but couldn’t create enough opportunities to score. Our attack, apart from some of the last 10 minutes was trash.
Our backline missed 17 tackles with a few more ineffective.

This was against a team who has lost 17 games this year, has scored the least amount comp wide whilst letting in the second most this year and had a tough game last week against a top 4 side whilst our blokes had their feet up relaxing.

Not winning that game is unacceptable.

How do you dominate the stats with lack of effort and heart from most of the side?

There certainly moments where things should have been better but pretty good overall.

I was there too.

Paid $70 for my prime seat in bay 215, right on the halfway line.

Fantastic seats. That was about the highlight of the afternoon.

From my awesome seat, I saw Terrell May over half time stand 10 metres behind the Dragons defence and wait for his team mates come to him, rather than jog back into the line and do his job. He did three sets in a row. That is pretty good.

That was pretty good.

The fact that we ONLY got beat by the team currently coming last was pretty good.

The fact that it only took me 20 minutes getting out of the Parramatta Leagues Club car park was pretty good.

The fact that the lines for the $15 beers were so short were pretty good, along with fact that the queue to take a leek at half time were non existant were pretty good.

Yep, it was a pretty good afternoon of quality entertainment. I could not possibly have made better use of my time and money this afternoon.

Surprisingly we won nearly every stat again except had a few more missed tackles. A few things stood out for me …

1 Absolute putrid missed tackles - Doeuihi, Luai & Saukuru for Suli’s try and Saukuru & ??? for Feagai’s long break in 2nd half.

2. Dumb plays & not identifying opportunities. Overall LOW IQ players & coaches.

3. Bula tries but is not it. Is the NRL’s best ‘almost’ line breaker. And his backing up leaves a lot to be desired. So if he’s not a line-breaker, if he’s not a ball player & if he’s not a backing-up merchant, what is he!

4. The lack of jerseys getting back to try to defuse Sloan’s in-field kick for their 4th try. Compare that to their jerseys chasing Samuela on that last break.

5. Same old same old poor execution in the red zone & low IQ football in general.

On the positive, Benji actually tried Mason in the middle and I reckon that’s his future. It’s taken how many rounds to try this???? Unfortunately he only got 15 mins. More dumb decisions imo.

I don’t want to be accused if being Hairist, BUT we need more Rangas in the team. Seyfarth hits the line as hard as he can and even without footwork he breaks the odd tackle. Rangas are genetically angry and annoying. Other teams use them why can’t we? The Bros might get inspired to back up if we had a couple more.

I mean what can you say? Statistically we’d have to be the worst performing professional sports team in Australia by some distance. To have to sit through five, six, seven, eight game losing streaks every season is ridiculous. To be frank losing home and away to St George-Illawarra should get us the wooden spoon. Thank Christ Jerome is buggering off. Herbert has played far too many games in top grade.

Dragons have 4 wins all season and two against us. At least we normally would have beaten the wooden spooners on our way to a 13th or 14th finish in the past.

How did we dominate the stats? Possession was basically 50/50 (52/48), as was metres. We missed 7 more tackles which killed our game.

My son was born just over two weeks ago and in that short time he’s seen 2 Eels wins (my wife’s team), 2 wins to the wooden spoon favourite Dragons and 0/2 for the Tigers. He can support the Roosters for all I care 😂

My son has never seen Tigers play Finals footy. Welcome to the shit show young lad.

I was at the game and haven’t watched any coverage.

And I thought it wasn’t as bad as people are making out, some extremely negative opinions but the effort was there and the general run of the game was solid.

3 tries to 1 in the second half with an all round improved defensive performance.

Room for improvement but for me a good team and a individual performances

I’d argue that’s because the opposition is also lacking.

I’d also argue there’s only really one stat that matters.

Yeah you’re right. I love those conversations where the other person states all the reasons they’re right and why the other voice is wrong. That’s actually called a debate, but that’s probably wrong, you probably have the more correct term to use. And mate, it’s never a discussion with you, which usually involves an exchange of ideas. Can't believe I wasted my Sunday watching that rubbish.

• Terrell May - love his grunt work, genuinely amazing stuff. But can we please get him out of the back line? He kills entire sets when he touches the ball. He can get the ball on tackle 2 and we look out of shape until tackle 5.
• Adam Doueihi & Jarome Luai - Do these two no longer get on? There were a number of times where Luai created opportunities, Doueihi was in a position to support, but he just stood there not even paying attention, setting up the next play. The communication between them looks off.
• Doueihi Nofoaluma - oh boy does his defence suck, just like our old mate David Nofoaluma, except he plays in the halves!

Fonua Pole and Seyfarth showed the way. Just run hard and tackle hard, it's not bloody rocket science.

Kick chase, first contact in D, ptb speed, line speed, marker D, support play.
We didn’t look enthusiastic or hungry until we were never going to win.
There are too many weak links in our squad for us to actually win a game. Looking around at virtually any other NRL team I am not sure if many of our players make the first 13 anywhere.
Today we sadly confirmed our position as the worst team in the competition.

Been in this club forever, Nofoaluma made a career falling over the line when he could have improved the kicking position.
In the same line, Why isn't anyone ever screaming at them to bring it around.

You would think Benji is awake to that. problem is , he never did as a player. Happy to put it down where he crossed the line.

These guys haven't looked like they have cared about being there in 2 months. Can't they at least pretend to care about winning. What a disappointing lot of sad sacks. They don't deserve the salary they earn.
