Round 25 spoilers

I've been going to football games for 58 years - and religiously watched every game up until about 4 years ago when i would watch the Tigers religiously and other games as standouts. Now i couldn't give a rats. I don't even watch the Tigers games if i have something else on and usually couldn't be bothered watching a replay. As much as i love the standard of football i can no longer stand the bias by referees and the fact that only a certain number of teams are ever a chance of winning. I still follow the Tigers and still enjoy coming on here to see whats going on - but as for the NRL its a lost cause.

Sorry to hear that DP but your story is so common - many many loyal RL fans losing interest. My best mate - made Newcastle supporter now follows Jets in soccer. My cousin - all her life season ticket holder now only watches Souths games.

The numbnuts of the NRL have no idea how much damage they are causing. Let’s get weekend footy mums and touch footy fanatics interested and let’s totally ignore the people who love and support the game.

Don't worry TS i'll be back next year to follow the Tigers - probably not with the same passion as in the past but alwyas with hope - as for the NRL - i have no faith that the mess that is the NRL will be remedied in the near future - as they say there is too much money in the big side of town.

Way to go Penrith. Going all the way to the 80th minute against a team with 7 players out, including 3 in their spine. What a game it will be if they play Saints next week. Get your tickets now.

If Cleary kicks even half of the goals that he missed, it wouldve been no contest in the second half.

But ….
The turning point was when Drinkwater had a try disallowed.
That was the biggest BS decision all year .

I still have penalty Broncos in golden point but that's me..

That wasn’t a bad result for the Storm, and if the Roosters beat by Parra by 30 tonight, and win the MP, I still don’t think that’s a bad result. Souths are a more attractive team to face week one than the Sharks.

I could only watch about 25 mins of Penrith game and am amazed that Panthers won- how many players in sin bin and how many penalties. I never thought that C Smith was that special.

2nd half square up began 5 mins before h/t.
The ref adjudicated the ruck totally different in the 2nd spell

Hopefully Penrith gain some momentum from last night to take into the finals. Gus is a massive flog but aside from him would still rather watch them win the GF than probably any other club except for the Warriors.
Gonna be a very "who cares" finals series this year. Cheat vs cheat.

I’m over Warren Smith
Waffles on too much

Bloody oath he does.
He lost me after his 100th "room service bounce" quip a few years ago. Should stick to commentating baseball- he seems like a Yank wannabe. Bring back Warren Boland, he was the best.
