Brother of josh drinkwater ?

Yep.

Was he ever one of ours ?

Don't think he was. From what I've read he was signed from the roosters.

Not ours - Drinkwater boys from Central Coast. Josh went through Manly to us via Dragons. Had big wraps at Manly and didn't produce it at Dragons. Scott has been at Melbourne for a while (NYC), not sure if he was at the Roosters.

Ryan Hoffman… Sheens' biggest mistake

Adam Blair
Jason Cayless
Nick Graham
Ryan O'Hara
Andrew Fifita

Anyway you've got the story wrong, Sheens didn't fail to keep Hoffman, Bellyache got into his old man's ear and offered a better contract than Tigers did.

Not wrong Sheens himself said what I wrote

Well fair enough, I'm not going to ask you to produce the quote, but if Sheens himself refers to it as "Sheen's Biggest Mistake" then that's one way to think about it. When you played footy with someone's Dad and his kid is a good footballer, I don't see it as much of a mistake that that connection greases a contract.

What a sham the NRL is. Always good business to have a successful team from the state of your direct rival i guess. Nice penalty count.
Sydney in the AFL get the same leg-up. Its pretty predictable.

Can ch9 please show a replay of important penalties

At this rate they are complicent in covering up the ref blunders

Good point you highlight there. The TV coverage only shows certain decisions on replay on Fox and 9\. Blatent crap decisions from refs are very seldom shown up on replays…....think Broncos 3-4 metre forward passes for tries as an example. Have noticed this as well Patriot.

Ive been saying it since about round 6\. Its a deliberate thing by ch9.

Cant ever imagine ESPN or an international network not showing replays to protect the refs.

I've been going to football games for 58 years - and religiously watched every game up until about 4 years ago when i would watch the Tigers religiously and other games as standouts. Now i couldn't give a rats. I don't even watch the Tigers games if i have something else on and usually couldn't be bothered watching a replay. As much as i love the standard of football i can no longer stand the bias by referees and the fact that only a certain number of teams are ever a chance of winning. I still follow the Tigers and still enjoy coming on here to see whats going on - but as for the NRL its a lost cause.

Penrith have done well here to only be down by 4\. They have had no ball. It seems like Melbourne have been campbon their line. The penalty count is ridiculous and two men have gone to the bin. If they have energy in the tank they are a real chance here.

The NRL are as corrupt as a major sporting organisation can get. They treat their fans as absolute morons. Cue Toddy with #talkthegameupandkeepyourcashcomingin. Two-bit pathetic organisation needs a major boycott by fans to enforce a monumental shake-up IMO.
