I think that game should be exhibit A on why Naden needs to go win himself a man of steel . He’s massive as well . There’s literally no reason for a guy that big , and agile to be soo shit . I’m soo pissed off , that one guy can be the difference.

After our two tries (Luai and Naden), Latu’s knock on in the first set off the kick off following Naden’s try was devastating. The next time we touched the ball we were losing by 6 and Latu was off with an HIA. These things happen but rarely do the better teams do this. We ended 5 hit ups and a kick in that situation.

Also, for a great player, gee Bula lacks some urgency at times. There were two situations he could have dived on a loose ball but stood there and watched it instead. They were game changing moments.

So disappointing. I really thought we were home after Luai’s try. Cant believe we let in 3 converted tries in such a short space with all to play for. No one to blame but ourselves.

Such a shame we didn’t win for the crowd and the occasion. It was so dead at the end of the game, which was just all wrong.

I have to disagree with that as our attack improved massively with Latu at 7.

This is just where we are as a team, still a lot of issues due to depth. Most of our wins were when the opposition were bad

not trying to make excuses but why do we never get calls when Tito gets hit high I know he is the shortest player out there but the number of times other teams have gotten away with hitting him high , especially the Cowboys today was questionable

Yes, we are just not able to ice those games.
At 28-16 it should have been all over, but hopefully we’ll learn from it.
Certainly much more competitive now but just so disappointing.
My man Douehi will be back next year, that was a diabolical attempt at a tackle, hope he’s ok.

Our defence was terrible, struggled to contain their bigger forwards such as Taumalolo through the middle and struggled to stop their speed men on the edges.
Does the inclusion of KPP and To’a stop these defensive problems ?
KPP should help, but it doesn’t solve our lack of line speed in the middle and To’a insn’t exactly a rock solid defender himself.
