I remember he joked about joining the Tigers and their chances of winning after the Panthers won their second premiership. He’s been amazing for us but he was binned a few times this year leaving us vulnerable and he did fail tonight. Not what is expected from a captain. I guess he’s just human.

Agree, dont understand it. The mentality of the club allowing it- were they even in on what was to be done? Its not a PR op or a crowd faithful pleasing exercise- that can be done any other time but not at the start of a crucial footy game. The coach needed to show he was switched on and he and his staff ready- DID NOT HAPPEN. WHAT WAS THE CLUB THINKING???????????????????????

That's been fairly consistent throughout the year, barring the odd performance here and there. Definately could not pay that guy marquee money. I'm glad he knocked it back, but you know he'll turn into the incredible Hulk down Melbourne you can bookmark it now.
