More on the coach
I see half the forum blaming Benji, the other half blaming players. The reality is it's the culture standards. Players come and go. Coaches come and go. Staff come and go. But the results stay the same. It's because there is no hype or any sort of passion in the jersey anymore. And when it does occasionally come out, it's good for a week or 2, then a 3 week losing streak is 'normal' and expected. The only way to come out of this is hard work and tough calls, which Benji hasn't done enough this year. Dropping the wrong players, keeping the wrong players in the team, 'experimenting' (aka being clueless) is not helping

In what universe would Galvin be considered the dominant half with Luai on the field?
What you have suggested doesn’t need saying. It is beyond obvious.
He plays both sides of the field all year. He kicks the ball plenty of times. He touches the ball 4 times a set. It's not going to be easy to tell him to go from doing that dominant half stuff and then all of a sudden being a second fiddle to the new guy in town

I don't think they will combine well too. I think fainu suits the right and luai on the left would be the best possible 'combination'. I think galvin is a better player currently than fainu, but it doesn't spell success. The team is what guarantees success, not putting great individual players somehwere and expecting magic to happen. The bulldogs recruited really well this year. They signed crichton (a great team player and leader) as well as workhorses and utilities. They built their year on defence. Team first. The individual players who played shit last year (kikau, burton, mahoney, addo-carr) are doing far less and guys like sexton, tracey and kiraz are picking up the slack in a team effort

If he doesn’t like it, he can piss off back Reggie’s.
He’s run the worst attack in the comp this year. Under no circumstances should he be allowed to do so again next season.

Yeah I agree. We need a game manager. Which is why I've got fainu with luai next year. I know galvin is a 'superstar' but sometimes you need to do what's best for the team. He's only 18. He can play in another spot in the mean time. I reckon roosters will snap him up tbh

Was there any mention of players leaving the club at the game , names like
Feledy
Mason
Naden
Stef
Papi
Sezer
matta
Flipper hands
etc
etc
etc

He’s not a superstar. How has he earned that moniker?
Galvin may be the better player, but Fainu is the better half.
