I'm a little surprised how upset I am about the idiocy that transpired last night with the approach to that game.
I've long been in people development/leadership positions in business and I champion the following philosophy.
If you want to 'be' something in the future, promoted to a higher level position or given a project, 'be' that professional now in your current role. Then the decision makers will give you the opportunity because they can see you 'are' that professional and therefore 'know' you can do the job.
So the message to the kids last night should have been - If you want to 'be' successful NRL players, 'be' NRL players tonight. Build disciplined pressure, kick to the corners, chase, and earn the chance to try your hand. That is what successful NRL players/teams 'do'.

My last word on last nights disaster, I really don’t care how young our team was, must have played since they were 5-6 years old . They know u don’t make stupid passes 10 out from ur line , the lack of effort in defence was disgusting, lack of direction from benji , he doesn’t seem to sent out messages that the players take any notice off , if Richo is the GUN CEO that all claim , he needs to sack Benji or get him him some experience in the coach department.

You're right... we're rudderless last night. Benji isn't the right coach for this group of players... we need a more experienced coach... hopefully the lot of new signings coming in will make a big difference for the better.

Think he got the guys who are staying up . But he definitely didn’t get Stefanie up . That was Mitch Moses level tanking . I watched that second half and sooo many of the tries were either directly or indirectly because he wasn’t in position .
I’m not blaming one guy , but honestly he didn’t put in !
I’d actually show that to the guys next year when we play Melbourne , if I was heighno and the middles coach .
I get it , why put your body on the line for a club you’ve checked out on , but man how do you look your teammates in the eye … anyways . We are on the up . I felt like a big reason we got hammered last night , was because there was no older half to tell Galvin to just kick to the corners . He was a hyperactive mess last night . Especially when API got binned . It wasn’t just because we were down a man but , the only adult in the room .
It’s a learning curve …

They also...(not sure if Storm or Penrith) they instruct their players to introduce themselves whenever they pass someone in the clubs buildings that they dont know

I think some of the things you’ve posted in the last 24hrs could also be easily quantified as bullying ….

There was a time in here when Luke brooks played for us , and that actually was bullying . Guys would go from here , to his instagram and Facebook , and just harass the guy for being meh at rugby league . Then create, alternate rooms to chat about others on here …. Serious mean girl shit !
I think people are real passionate at the moment and really disappointed with that result.
And that is leading to a lot fire and brimstone .

Thank you and good examples of real bullying too. In fact, one of the current mods was the orchestrator of such a discord where he would talk about people in less than flattering terms. Pretty awful stuff was being said.
@TSP and @Kaito, If my posts offend you or you feel you're being bullied, you can always just block me. My intention is not to bully. Sometimes it's banter. Sometimes it's debate. Maybe I could choose my words more carefully. We probably all could. There is no sensitivity scale next to your usernames, so unless there's some outburst, I don't know that I'm dealing with people that are more fragile or sensitive.
