Live Game Discussion
And Gus Gould has taken to twitter, the gracious winner he is:

Great weekend for club. Clean sweep

NRL Bulldog 26 Tiger 22
NSW Cup Bulldog 44 Magpie 12
Harold Matthews Bulldog 14 Magpie 12
SGBall Bulldogs 30 Magpie 16 J
ersey Flegg Bulldog 38 Tiger 6
Tarsha Gale Women’s Bulldog 38 Tiger 8
Harvey Norman Women’s Bulldog 20 Tiger 12
well it did happen so can't be too harsh on him tbh

Punditry on us is generally non-analytical. It is easy and popular to pile on us - was more looking for specific issues with the game he played today.
Here is one example - There was one play today where Brooks received the ball with a dogs player in front of him that had been called offside by the ref. Brooks should have heard the ref and ran at the offside player to either make a line break or gain a penalty. Instead, he never looked up and threw a quick pass behind AJ Kepaoa who knocked it on.

Our forward attack strategy is crap.
In Klem & Stef 2nd stint they just ran hard and we got opportunities from it.

After 40mins both Klem & Stef ran for 50mtrs combined which is shocking, last week they sucked as well.

Props are meant to run hard and strong not the Sheens fluff crap.

Joffa isn’t a bench forward never has been.
If Klemmer and Stef keep it simple with a run first mentality like they done in the second half, they are as good as any prop combination in the NRL.
Not sure if it’s the coaching or why they have been so hesitant tn run hard and aggressively early in games.
We haven’t had any issues carrying the ball from our own end to halfway and beyond, it’s what happens when our playmakers become involved which has been a big issue.
Amongst all the negativity I think we have a forward pack capable of getting the better of any rival forward pack we come up against, if we can just get out halves doing the basics well and playing the percentages well, we have the ability to win a lot more games than many of us supporters think at the noment.

I agree on AD being poor today, actually worried whenever he touches the ball. Bit did our defence get more organised especially in the red zone when he was at FB?

Once again. This team will rock on up to training this morning, patting themselves on the back saying 'don't worry boys, we didnt give up, we only lost by 4, the win will come'.

This organisation is a disgrace and I hope they know how pathetic every other club thinks they are and that most teams relax knowing they are playing us.

The worst run organisation in the NRL, dying a slow miserable death.

Shows our pathways is on track 😅

AD can't be in the team at 5/8. Centre maybe - he is a liability in defence and unless he is running he is a hinderance in attack.

If it is the end for nof I hope tigers can swap for a good center or back with great attack spark that isn't getting a start at their club, IRO ??? Maybe
Douhei is like when Gallen played origin. He gets selected on passion but he is actually useless. Mmmmm

More like Day Care Service 🙄

Brooks has a good 10 minute period after being rubbish the whole game & now it’s apparently I told you so 😂😂
Even in that 10 minutes there were a couple of average plays by him. I'd like to see both starting halves rested.

Maybe try Bateman at 5/8 with Wakeham .

Paps back next week covers taking him out of the pack.

Now is the time for radical experimentation, nothing to lose, a lot to gain.

Yeah this was a poor read - he just need to run then.

Recruits played well today. Shame we still have so many wooden spooners.
At least a couple of bog standard 2nd grade halfs and the tigers would look pretty good compared to the park footballers they roll out year after year. Wakeham showed up Brooks inside 5 mins. A 2nd grader at best at all other clubs.

If Brooks had an IQ that registered on any level the guy should be embarrassed to show his face on the footy field ever again after that, but as we know, brains and Brooks don't go together. Like oil and water.

Listening to the after game presser, I was embarrassed for the club with some of Sheen's answers to questions. I have never heard a coach make up so many excuses for their own failures, it was poor at best. Does anybody not think that Shane Flanagan could have done better job? Sheen's is out of touch and now our of answers. Been saying it of over a year, Douhei is not a No 6

Totally agree.
If the team wants to play razzle dazzle, as Sheens has suggested, then Matamua is a must at 13.

Who gets dropped ? I thought Pole was great.

8. David Klemmer
9. Api Koroisau
10. Alex Twal
11. John Bateman
12. Isiah Papalli
13. Fonua Pole

14. Jake Simpkin
15. Stefano Utoikamanu
16. Sean Blore
17. Joe Ofahengaue

I think you neeed Simpkin on the bench. We'll kill Api with the work we are making him do. To me if you bring in Matamua Twal or Joe O get dropped and that is a massive call.
