That bench is a joke, who out of those reserves is going to get us on the front foot when they are fresh onto the field, a hooker, centre ? Lol . Its only going to get worse supporters

What a great idea!Something for Brooks to aspire to . Check out Nicco's stats first game back for Sharks
3 try assists 5 linebreak assists 148 m run errors 0
Brooks vs Storm
0 try assists 0 linebreak assists 80 run errors 3
I sincerely hope somehow some huge improvement this week
No idea why Naden was resigned. Another dumb call. He drops the ball often and never tackles with his shoulder. He's an arm grabber. Should be dropped with Douhie until they learn how to tackle. It's just laziness. You are right re Naden his stats were horrendous so I thought he must be injured but no just didn't even try ?
Not sure but he needs to get more aggressive. I want two Atsi James on the bench and not Twal and Seyfarth. Need hard running props.Way too light on the bench. What’s happening with Offa i wonder.
I have a feeling they will be ordinary again. Nothing in the first 4 games has shown they have improved at all.I have a littlr feeling Brooks and AD will have above average games this week. This will then justify thier selection for the five weeks afterwards no matter how poorly they play.
1 above average game then 4 - 5 piss poor games seems to be the pattern ☹️
That decision actually makes sense; had we not lost the scrum. There is opportunity from the scrum for a set play with less players across the park defending. Once you get inside the ten the advantage is gone and attack/defence is on pretty even ground. And also not feeding the scrum behind the second rowers feet after we received a penalty and for reasons unknown decided to repackage the scrum instead of having a set of six inside their 20

No just saying that everyone should try to consider Sheens'/Benji's selections before going off! I don't believe Doueihi or Brooks should be in the team in their current form but given lack of viable replacements & both coming off interrupted pre-seasons I can see the reasoning (time to gel, find their touch). Laurie is not in form himself & I would prefer to see him play in the halves in NSW Cup first.Think about it? Do you take us as imbeciles? No way either Brooks or Doueihi deserve to be in the team. I get that it's difficult to drop both of them as finding replacements is an issue. I suggested before that the halves could be Wakeham and Laurie. My thoughts were that Wakeham could take on the steady, controlling (as you put it) role while Laurie might provide some spark. Of course that was never going to happen but sticking with both when they've each been diabolical is sheer lunacy. Brooks, in particular, has been beyond woeful. You can see his teammates remonstrating about his constant crap passing. It's time that Sheens and, actually, the Tigers, showed some balls and ended the charade with Brooks. I'm not so concerned about the bench, although I would have swapped Stef and Twal, but a slow fullback who can't tackle? Staines did well back there in the last game. Leave him there! Persisting with a halfback that is a liability to the team and dropping an emerging forward in Blore who has actually been quite good are two decisions that deserve caning! The bottom line is that the real problems have not been addressed.. Absolutely bewildering.
Do you mean above the NRL average or their perspective individual averages?I have a littlr feeling Brooks and AD will have above average games this week. This will then justify thier selection for the five weeks afterwards no matter how poorly they play.

I was at the game in Melbourne .I'm sure naden was playing injuredYou are right re Naden his stats were horrendous so I thought he must be injured but no just didn't even try ?
I don't hope for that at all, and you have problems.Hope they get smashed ..
Sheens deserves it
It was a short turn around after a brutally hot game the week before, probably the only game our forwards haven't dominated this year, and fair enough. Doesn't excuse the last tackle options though...I was at the game in Melbourne .I'm sure naden was playing injured
Yea .it was only what I noticedIt was a short turn around after a brutally hot game the week before, probably the only game our forwards haven't dominated this year, and fair enough. Doesn't excuse the last tackle options though...
That's what I thought but no mention of it .If true what does that say about game management and bench usageI was at the game in Melbourne .I'm sure naden was playing injured
Need to get him inside of Douhie if he wants to see any ball?Don’t get the Tupou love. We can’t get within cooee of the try line and everyone is going all jelly legs about one of our wingers.
Well how else does he get out of the team, there seems no other way, the coach has lost the plotthat us a disgraceful comment to make far out
Why does everyone have to bend over backwards to make it easier for Brooks, get him out of the team and it's easier for everyone elseI know that I am not preaching to everyone here, so to those who get it and are already on the bus; I apologise. However, for the rest of you, I'm not sure why you just don't get the strategy.
We just need a little bit more attack and it will be fine.
While some may think Sheens has selected the worst bench in history; those astute studies out there have noticed that the bench has both Toa and Jake included, They are on the bench to give us more attack. If we had a couple of rotational forwards on the bench this would be more defence, and would defeat the strategy.
Round 5 will be the turning point in the season for us long suffering WT fans. The addition of a little bit more attack will result in AD breaking through the line like Latrell Mitchell and Luke finally beating the shirt grabs that stopped him scoring three four pointers in the second half against Melbourne.
Wakeham also said that the rest of the team will lift to make things easier for Luke. That will definitely unleash a little bit more attack. So, a bit like compounding interest, we will see a benefit from banking some attack for the last five minutes in our benchies. We are definitely on the right track here!
Our Chairman has spoken so either get on the bus and support the creation of an attacking bench or sit in the back stalls and keep quiet.
Sermon over.
