Honestly, besides Bateman’s dumbass penalty and Bula literally walking away from dummy half, it’s hard to be too annoyed. We talked about the short turnaround all week. We expected this. Sure, it’s hard to take as its happening, but this loss and performance is far from poor considering the circumstance's.

Agree. We’ll run out of gas and get smashed. But no need to slit our wrists. Worst case it’s just back to the same old tigers!

Sullivan was probably one of our better players, Bateman was diabolical, Bula was poor, API is injured. Basically our forward pack looked flat as a tack and nothing flowed off them.
They looked like a five day turnaround team

Need to shake that first half off and start again , need to hit harder in defence and hold, the ball , Bud needs to do some sneaky API type runs from dummy half , first 10/15 minutes we need points

Been flat footed in attack with no one really running onto the ball when they shift it.

Typical Dolphins performance this year

We aren’t playing with the same intent and respect as we have the last 2 games.

We looked gassed after 5-10mins.
The kicking to the corners early took the punch out.

65% completions mixed with most missed tackles in the 1st half for the season & waiting for the ball (in hand and defensively) which is evident by the Dolphins making most meters per set so far this year and us making our least meters per set.

Want the boys to have a dig in the 2nd half and compete for the 1st 20mins if they do something might happen & turn the game.

not just Bateman though. Poor attempted tackle by him for sure but he was left with too much space due to lazy efforts from the 3 middles. Twal no hustle to get in position. Pole didnt get off the line and Utoikamanu failed to close the gap left by Twal and Pole.
