Benji is just so impressive.
On one hand I love how unrelenting he is. On the other, celebrate the wins! Show some emotion and crack a smile Benj!
Sure, the job isn’t done, but look at what you have achieved already:
-We are equal top.
-You have already taken this team to equal wins from ‘22 and ‘23, and it’s only round 6!
-First time we have won three in a row in 8 seasons.
- For the first time in ages we have some depth and have had excellent cover for injured stars.
- Twal!!!

Also it is nice that Benji now will say if he isn’t happy about aspects of the game etc. In past seasons it was all oh it is what it is, happy with the effort blah blah after they got flogged. I found that so frustrating. New improved Coach Benji looks to mean business & I am all for that.

Remember this, while WT sit level with the Panthers on the scoreboard, we have 1 game in hand as well. It'd be nice to keep the opposition to as few points as possible to catch & hopefully overtake Penrith's for & against.

Our statistics re points scored in the last 10mins of the 1st half & first ten minutes of the second half this year are phenomenal, *47 - 0 leading up to this game.

AD has broken 200 run meters twice this season and the best part is that he is racking up try assists whilst doing so.
Would have had a few more today if his winger wasn’t injured.

And he is drawing in defenders as he is hitting the line hard - just needs a few runners, particularly Bula to go with him and the tries will follow.

Twal is playing so well, that’s it almost infuriating. Where has this been for the last 7 or 8 years? What could have been.

He finds his front almost every time. I can’t believe it either. The extension we just gave him, whilst lowering his cap number, looks like excellent business.

One of the most impressive things about the season thus far is the next man up thing. Everytime someone goes out for whatever reason the next man up has been seamless in coming in.

Look at Herbert today came in had a great game, Jock,Tavana ect ect the depth is great but i think its also a mentality thing also.

Yes he is struggling.
I don’t know why TF we keep playing him at centre when he looked so dangerous on the wing.
The kid has talent but is not having a happy year whilst those around him are killing it.
This is a chance for Benji to show some leadership.

If Maka is struggling this year, imagine how he would have been any other year in our terrible teams!!!! You could see the potential late in the second half today off the kick regather in the Kinghts half. He wound up and looked good.

No real brain explosions, defence isn't exploited. And the head gear is gone.

I actually think he's getting used to the physical side of it now.

He might cop a bit this year & I doubt we see anywhere near the player he can be.

But in a year, he's going to be something.

What exactly is dominating in the KOE going to do for him now? For mine, he's surpassed Skelton. So if May & To'a come back, you move him to the wing then.

You only go into protection mode if it looks like it's too much for him. He does not look outplayed yet.

Surely no one is suggesting dropping him. Maybe move him to the wing when Taylan is back but Maka is doing fine. 18 and will only get better with more NRL.

What I will say- Tigers, Knights & Titans have come out in 2026 as totally new versions of themselves.

This style of play is very, very different in it's mentality. 2026 Tigers enjoy defending- you can see it with their enthusiasm.
