Our coaches need to watch how Cronulla run those sweep plays. They call it the “sling shot” and run basically at a 45 degree angle from the centre of the field. They give themselves depth to get on the outside and get around defenders jamming in. We failed quite a few times to get that last pass to the winger today when we had an overlap.

They made a game of it, 6hrs from home was good to see some action. And good atmosphere. Was just a night out really.

But definitely no euphoria from me. Eels kept us in it and got away with some ref calls too. We should be 3-3 if we were an average side.

I choose positive thoughts (must be the beers) Tupou so raw but man he has come on in 6 months so good. Stains brilliant on effort areas (yes I know huge error) but had his best game in the 1. Poor Asu gets moved around but tries so hard. Bateman must go to lock, creates havoc and looks filthy on errors, I dont care what anyone says but Api was spent on several occasions but continued to lift. For me today is hard as all of my in laws go for Parra but surely we get plenty out of that. Yes it’s rubbish being 0-6. But without sounding like some of our delusional officials its about to turn for us.
