Unbelievable from the bunker…. Knock ons are ok if your attempting a kick

He was clearly intending to kick so if you're allowed to drop kick in general play (and not only when attempting a field goal) then I don't see the problem with it. I don't know what the rule is about drop kicks in general play though.

That was a knock on, he attempted the left foot kick, botched it, had a stab with the right. Even after he touches it down in goal, he knew it wasn’t a try.

Is it coincidence , but when I see the Broncos players getting tackled with the 3rd man in low , they cross their legs ??

Brilliant try from Melbourne - awesome kick Addo-Carr.

Isaako is as slow as a wet week. Lost ground on the Storm left hand side during the try.

You're comparing him to Addo-Carr who is probably the fastest player in the game…

Please.
A. Kick is when the ball leaves the hands and contacts the foot.
A drop kick is kicked simultaneously as the ball touches the turf and contacts the boot.
That was a howler and Slater knew it

Not really "simultaneously". The ball bounces.

But most people agree ita not a try. Tedesco did it laat year vs titans.

If the nrl allows that as a try then technically isnt anyone who drops the ball (knock on) permitted to quickly kick it?

Watch that at full speed and not in slow motion and it'll look like a drop kick. It doesn't have to be simultaneous - if you're trying to get elevation like they do in union you kick it slightly later than you do when going for distance.
