Gonna continue hearing excuses for Luai - I've probably made some in the past for him - but it's as obvious as can be now.

You can say it was lost elsewhere, poor defence or whatever. Fact is, that wouldn't have cost us if we converted early. Luai proved again he can't.

So everyone backing Benji's decision for the half changes, how's that going?

My concern was making the attack clunky. Exactly what happened. Iv got no doubt Madden and Douhi in the first half get us a lead of at least 12 points with all the quality ball we had on their line. Our attack toinght went straight back to where it was at Souths, side to side and predictable.

We lost because we have absolutely no structure in attack. We can not score from inside the red zone. It was painful to watch tonight. But it was the same vs Parra where we had 30 sets of six in their end and couldnt score, Parra went down the other end and scored quickly etc.

If our coaching staff reacted the way some on this forum have tonight, we wouldn't be able to field a team. On Makasini, you're criticising an 18 year old kid, who is being heavily marked because he is clearly talented. Broncos were hungry to prove everyone wrong and came out to play. Yes, I agree our attack was clunky, but Brisbane's defence was solid tonight and there was a lot of lying in the ruck. I've seen a slowing of play across this round and I'd imagine they are tweaking the six again rule to slow it up a bit
