TEAM LIST Round 7 vs Broncos

Team List
Jarome will be in the headlines always regardless. After every NSW origin loss he is always the scapegoat. After the 2023 GF the negativity around him was insane. It's just continuing again with the same detractors who have been doing it for years
People are boring and don't like flamboyant, outspoken people. Doubly worse for those people if said person is not white. Jarome plays with flare which will always attract haters.

I've really grown to like Jarome. I thought he was a bit of a show pony at the Panthers, especially after one or two of the Grand Final wins but now I can see he is a real family man, a supporter of his people and local community and a tremendous team mate and leader.

Our next 4 games
Broncos
Raiders
Sharks
Storm
Last year they all finished in top 6
So
IMO we will get an idea how we are really travelling this year in 4 weeks time.
If our forwards can stay injury free then I’m hoping we can pick up at least 2 wins.
I reckon we can bank a depleted broncos at ctown, and I think we will flog the raiders at Leichhardt

I can remember the misery on the old Wests Tigers forum that was attached to the actual Wests Tigers website.

The Broncos were at the absolute peak of their powers in those days. Casey McGuire, Scott Minto, Brett Seymour, Scott Prince, Corey Parker and Shane Walker were all legit first graders and/or rep players. It's more a reserve side playing at home rather than a kids team, we were missing some cattle too.

We built a team of kids and veterans that beat their actual origin rep stars and first grade side in qualifying final 3 years later. So f@ck off Broncos.

Spot on O

Has anyone seen Jock play dummy half? Hopefully he can as this could be what we need to help Api longer term. I reckon Jock will get decent game time. Firstly as dummy half and then to halfback with Jerome at 6. Douiehi will have a roving commission with maybe Herbert going back to the bench.
Don’t know about dummy half but I’m sure he’d love some game time v Broncs, in any position. Like “ hey, remember me, water boy “ !

Strongest team on paper I've seen in a long while
What a backline !
Bula Turuva , Taylan , Herbert ,Makasini ,Luai ,Douehi
Couldn't get any better providing and this is a big IF
That both Taylan and Luai are truly fit and I mean match fit !
Our pack tore knights to bits last week
Mission for them DO IT AGAIN !
Note Madden is benched but at 14 its like he's first cab off the rank
How bench is used ? Will be interesting
Hunt ,Sione important ,Seyfarth and Latu handy to cover injuries
Think this is a top 4 team !!!
They would be mate . The high performance staff are well known for being on the conservative side , and all about preventing reinjury . You get guys like AD redoing his knee … but you can’t really plan for that

I want what you're having.
I cant shake the thought of us losing the next 4, bula leaving and us appointing a ceo with a vested interest to appease the HBG.
Its just the wests tigers way!

They’re all outside the top 9. 😎

You would think Jerome would be nervous and have a lot of weight on his shoulders coming back into a side that has been winning with Jock in control.
It should be AD feeling the pressure not Luai, Jock has been playing halfback - He just had a 6 on his back.

If the team stalls now it will be because AD isn't a half back even though he has the 7 on his back.

Hey Jedi
How many games Joel Caine played in 1st Grade is the same amount most members of this forum haven’t played 1st grade games.
I know it’s only your opinion but to say he is not a very good footballer is way off the mark.
you are right, tedesco like hey...

he is not a good footballer by most nrl fullback standard. like some on here say Brooks is not a good footballer, it is opinion.
Caine is a nice bloke, NOT a good footballer

I hope we win at least one of those two games. Adam Reynolds is an incredible player. If he plays he'll certainly have his moments. He was world class against us in Brisbane last year.. we were actually going really well.... didn't he score a field goal just before half time? I think there was a 40-20 just after the break in the mix too, and after chipped and chased for a try?? He were playing ok he just calmly took that game away from us. -- That's the standard for both AD and Madden.

It's the Raiders game that scares me more. That feels more like the banana peel somehow. I don't know why.
