He was facing his goal line when he touched it looked like in the replay it went back, it is Manly so I don't mind either way.

Doesn't matter where you're facing mate, it matters where the ball travels after the point of contact.

Plenty of knock ons have been given when players have been facing their own goal line. It was far from being a "howler".

I couldn’t care less who won tonight BUT I am so friggen sick of referee interference in our game. NO WAY Cherry-Evans knocked on but ref calls it, Newcastle feed and then Newcastle try. Another game decided by refs. It happens every single week. We’ve been pissed on by refs twice in 7 games. Not good enough. I’m with Toovey - there needs to be an investigation!!!! Maybe I’m with Bob Fulton and we need a cement truck!!!!

If you can't handle officials making errors I suggest you give up watching sports. Its happened since day dot and will continue to happen.

Perhaps reading books might be a good change of pace.

There is no other game where officials influence results as much as they do in NRL

Okay. if thats what you want to believe. I religiously follow league, english football, a-league, the AFL and the NBA. In every competition, fans blame the officials. Its boring. They are humans making fast decisions without the benefit of a replay. get over it.

Yes it was a great hit Ink, but every other week it's deemed a shoulder charge and they are supposed to be banned now. I bet if one of our guys did I it, it would've been penalised. Consistency is all I want.
