Anything to get him out of the coaches box.Can we start Benji?
Not sure if this is correct on the second Manly try. We only had 4 players on our whole left edge defending half a field versus Manly’s 5/6 players. Brooks jammed in on DCE who IP already had covered. So 2 defenders on DCE which left Olikawate (?) uncovered. AJ stayed on his man which was Harper. Brooks jammed in super late and a very short distance - it would have been impossible for AJ to follow him. Manly still had Turbo sweeping around so even if Brooks had of stayed out Manly still would have had an overlap.Exactly - it was a great play by DCE to get around his man and draw Brooks in. Brooks bashers will hang him anyway - Kepoa caused the first try and then turned to stone for the 2nd. Some on here obviously don't have a clue.
You are correct. The team looks better on paper and playing better in general than last year. BUT there’s a giant monkey on their backs. They just don’t know how to win.
Yes... Just a simple strip of numbers... And kepoa didn't "just stand there"Not sure if this is correct on the second Manly try. Reality = Sheens KNOWS he cannot be sacked. It's no longer about Luke it's about Tim, either he drops him or he is sacked again.Simple.
In that case...your man to blame is Marshall.I understand he is the whipping boy here but Brooks was far from the problem today. In fact he was one of a very small handful of players actually able to create something. The “attacking” structure created by the coaching stuff is the problem. We play like an under 10’s side.
The reality is there are no clear cut answers, this club is just cursed.
When u put it that way u make a great point lmao hahaI disagree entirely. If you want your team to be rooted then our halves are doing just fine.
You brooks supporters are amazzzing you see nothing wrong with brooks,What about the fact his centre outside him decided to tackle no one ?
Why was our second rower on that side nowhere to be seen ?
Hmm, I tend to disagree. He was ok today, but made a few poor last tackle decisions, got in the way of a couple of attacking moves, then drops the ball at the end.I understand he is the whipping boy here but Brooks was far from the problem today. Another week winning the field position and the middle and another week where there’s no organisation or ability to capitalise in the opposition 20. Thought forwards were good again though.
Brooks shows absolutely no enthusiasm in anything he does.
Agree - all that’s missing is an organising half who is confident and takes control. Here’s hoping Brooks or Wakeham can get there. We are improving slowly but surely. Frustrating to watch at times but we are getting there. Keep the faith Tigers fans.
I'm shockedNot sure why Brooks is the focus point on here.
Watching any other game and when the halfback gets the ball 15 metres out you are thinking danger danger …when brooks gets the ball all I do is worry about how he will destroy cold , our entire attacking set.. he is that bad.. he even puts the other players in his own team off their game… he always, ALWAYS takes the wrong option … he is THE COOLER of attacking football… a Vegas casino should hire him to bring winning punters to their knees.. he will kill any streak he is in proximity too!You brooks supporters are amazzzing you see nothing wrong with brooks,
Whinging about his week forwards last few years and now we have better forwards, what do you do when brooks makes an error, you blame a centre, and a forward it was brooksys tackle to make not the centres, or forward.
But dont worry he will be first picked for next week, and will sign a new contract very soon.
HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE CURRENTLY IN OUR TEAM WHO PLAYED 3 YEARS AGO, I KNOW BROOKS IS ONE, HE IS THE COMMON THREAD TO OUR LOSSES. AD IS ANOTHER AND TWAL.
REST OF 2023 TEAM WIPED OUT, AND BROOKS IS STILL HANGING IN AND PEOPLE STILL THINK HE IS WONDERFULL
Because he is supposed to be our playmaker. If you haven't noticed he isn't making much. Not sure why Brooks is the focus point on here.
Incorrect. DCE did not ‘get around’ his man at all. Paps had him dead to rights. Brooks did not trust Papali’i and turned in. From there it was simple.Exactly - it was a great play by DCE to get around his man and draw Brooks in. Brooks bashers will hang him anyway - Kepoa caused the first try and then turned to stone for the 2nd. Some on here obviously don't have a clue.
I agree here - Brooks didn’t number up properly.Incorrect. DCE did not ‘get around’ his man at all. Paps had him dead to rights. Brooks did not trust Papali’i and turned in. From there it was simple.
