I missed most of the second half what happened to loiero except the gp penalty the commentators kept talking about him

He just couldn’t control the red mist. Lots of swinging arms - some of which did connect and got missed by the officials.
He drove his elbow into Tapine face on the ground when he had the ball. Possible crusher tackle earlier on as well.
All the Storm boys were put off their game by Canberra coming at them aggressively, Munster was as well…but Stef and Loiero were successfully baited and lost Melbourne the game.

Peter V and his side kick Albo must be over the moon. They are knee deep in negotiations to renew the broadcast rights and the comp for the first time in living memory is very tight and competitive. There is not a lot of difference between the top and the bottom teams, although as the season roles on a gap may appear but I doubt it will be as big in years gone by.

Melbourne will be fired up big time next week at home so it will be a massive test for our mob. Not sure if Grant is back, but I think we are in with a chance

Canberra are a much more consistent side this year than they’ve ever been, so too the Warriors, though the latter are always susceptible to a slide down in the ladder in the second half of the season.

Melb havent really put 80 together I think all season, they float in and out of games a bit like us

Hughes shoulder could be an issue for them though he carried on....I wish we had Skelton up against Fa'alogo who looks a bit suss in defence but a different story in attack

Some excellent football considering the conditions and how good was Suncorp? 9 games in 4 days in heavy rain and the surface held up.

They will come out next game at home breathing fire, if our at times pathetic defense from the last game isn't fixed during the week it could get ugly.
You know where they will target if Toa isn't good to go, the replacement centre and if Bula's ankle isn't right replacement fullback.
